Visited San Antonio this past weekend with my family. The overall experience of the city is nice BUT... their parking is extremely expensive (and timed), there is alot of construction and is hard to navigate if you do not know the city. I also noticed 3 extra taxes, aside the state tax, which i never noticed before (picture included). Some "Mexican restaurants" like "Mi Tierra" play on stereotypes with over priced food and subpar quality (definitely cater to foreigners who do not know real mexican cooking and expect the "mariachi" experience of those golden age of cinema stereotypes of mexico). Overall, expect to pay alot for some services (bring extra money), make sure you map out where you want to go in advance with updated locations for re-routing options.

San Antonio is by far the most culturally diverse city in Texas, successfully fusing Mexican and American cultures. Tex- Mex cuisine abounds along the picturesque Riverwalk where one can glide along the canals in a narrated riverboat tour taking in a history lesson while viewing sights and sounds along the way. For me, the best of the best is waiting in the Pearl district. Once an active brewery, it's now replete with a luxury hotel, a variety of eateries and an eclectic mix of boutiques and an interesting book store, as well as the culinary school. Whether a long weekend or an extended stay, San Antonio has much to offer.

I stopped by this morning and Ben helped me get a great room downtown, was just an all around helpful friendly guy. A true asset to represent this beautiful City of San Antonio..

In April, our family spent 4 wonderful days all over San Antonio. We stopped by your center to pick up post cards to mail home during our cross-country road trip. Our 12 year old daughter was on a hunt for a pocket watch, and she came across a beautiful watch pendant on a chain at your visitor information center. She has worn it nearly everyday since, until it accidentally got washed in the washing machine this morning. It also got stuck in the washer and the chain had to be cut to release it. The watch, of course, no longer works, and she is heartbroken. I went online to see if you had an online store, and unfortunately you do not, and I can't find anything similar online. Is there some way I can get a replacement watch? I plan to call you tomorrow to see what is an option. All that to say, we think about the San Antonio Visitor Information Center often and so appreciate your kindness and hospitality while we visited your beautiful...

Lots of the brochures and websites I visited stated to visit here to pick up the tickets I ordered online, but they do not do that. There is a coupon in the San Antonio Coupon Book 2022 that says to visit them and make a purchase of $10 or more and get a free gift. You can't purchase anything there and there are no items to give out. What they do have is agents from some company that tries to sell you tourism bundles and packages. These same people are located in the River City Mall as well...if you hear the question are you going to be in town tomorrow? And you do not want to be sold anything keep walking or state you're not interested because a...
