MK Envision — Local services in San Diego

I have been a fan and follower of MK Envision Galleries since they first opened! I was initially impressed with the quality and quanity of their absolutely gorgeous photographs on display.

The staff is so knowledgeable and approachable. They really listen to what your needs or wishes are, and offer many sizes of prints as well as different printing choices (on paper, on metal, etc), as well as framing and matting options. They may actually do the printing themselves, so the quality is first rate.

I love the gallery's website with decorating tips and the endless creativity of displaying photographs and grouping of works to really accentuate and enhance a room. I am always learning something new!

Before Covid changed our lives, I was fortunate to attend events featuring photographers whose works were being displayed. It was fascinating to hear of different techniques and philosophies and actually meet them. I think it is to the customer's advantage that the photographers are personally known to the staff of the gallery!

Another thing I think is so wonderful is when local photographers are featured and recognized. It is so much fun to own a beautiful piece from our own town. One of my favorite photographs on my wall is of a sunset at Pacific Beach in San Diego which includes Crystal Pier and makes me nostalgic of my childhood and wonderful times I had there.

I had been searching for almost two years for wall art to hang above my sofa, and one day, I googled modern coastal wall art and a couple of clicks in, found MK Envision Galleries! I had been waiting to find the perfect piece, and I did. I saw "Shore Break At Sunrise" and it immediately spoke to me, so I knew almost instantly that I would be buying it. I was certain it would be as beautiful in person as it looked online (and it is) but had a couple of questions before committing to the purchase. Response time was quick, communication was informative, fun and professional. This was a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I loved a lot of the travel photos available from the MK Envision Gallery, but we eventually decided that we wanted to enlarge a photo from our own travels. But we wanted it to look like a professionally done gallery-quality enlargement. Kelsey and Michele helped us to select the best photo from several choices, and then they created a mock up of our photo on our unusually shaped wall area.
