The best cookies I’ve ever eaten (that weren’t homemade). In an era where most commercially sold cookies are overloaded with grease and whatever gross thing they’re replacing real butter with, Batch & Box stands alone as a retailer of quality cookies. You can tell they were made from scratch, with love and care. My dietary limitations mean that my digestive system is extremely sensitive to any processed chemicals or ingredients. I cannot eat what passes for cookies at most retailers, but here at Batch & Box they cookies are thick and delicious, the perfect level of chewy, and packed with flavor.

The staff is always cheerful and friendly, and quite open to feedbacks & suggestions. Every month they offer special limited edition flavors, one of which is usually a cookie sandwich filled with the most glorious buttercream I’ve ever experienced. The sandwich cookies are kept cold so they won’t melt, and at first they often tasted like refrigerator. But once we mentioned it to them, they began sealing the storage container, and now the buttercream really shines! Another time, we mentioned that the oatmeal cookies were delicious but the raisins made us pass on them. Some months later they debuted an oatmeal chocolate chip cookie that was absolutely perfect. So kudos to the staff for listening to their customers and always being willing to experiment with fun new flavors!

My one quibble is that if they close early for a holiday they do not put up a sign warning customers. There have been times I stopped by to discover they had closed earlier than the posted time, and not only was there no sign on the door about it, there hadn’t been one earlier in the day or the day before, either. It would be more courteous to notify your regular customers that there would be a temporary schedule change, but since they don’t I just assume on every holiday that I...

Great cookies, but horrible attitude!

I visited this store a few times, and both times store associate treated me poorly.

Today I stopped by to get Valentines cookies for my kids. Was nothing with the Valentines theme on display.

My daughter ended up ordering sprinkles cookie and received a cooking which wasn’t displayed at all - Valentines cookie with red and pink sprinkles.

I asked associate switch the other premium cookie I’ve bought to the Valentines one, same as my toddler, because it wasn’t displayed. She said I need to pay for extra cookie, that my premium cookie is different, made me uncomfortable because I was holding the line.

Also, I asked her for the birthday cookie, repeated my phone number 3 times. She said I don’t have a birthday cookie promo since she can’t find my number (I showed her a proof that I signed in).

She just gave me 10% as a promo.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the racist behavior of an employee at your store. On August 31st, 2023 at approximately 8:30 PM, I went to your store to pick up an Uber Eats order. When I told the cashier that I was picking up my order, she said, "Oh, the one with the odd name?" and then handed me the package.

I am a person of color with a traditional name. The cashier's comment was offensive and discriminatory. It was clear that she was making assumptions about me based on my name and appearance. Her comment was also unnecessary, as there was no other Uber Eats order at the time.

I am appalled that an employee of your store would behave in such a way. I expect that you will take steps to address this issue and ensure that your employees are not discriminating against customers based on their race or ethnicity.

I would like to receive a full refund for my Uber Eats order. I would also like to be contacted by a manager to discuss this...
