I have always been a VS shopper, love their bras and love their customer service. I just moved to SD and lost a bit of weight, so time to go in for a fitting. Fortunately, these folks didn't let me down. Someone up front measured me and sent me back to the fitting room, where they've got a gal there to help you find the right size/fit. I've always loved their fitting room set up, they have all of the styles and sizes, in the same color, and then they bring you bras based on what you like. I am the worst shopper and need supervision to make sure that i get the correct size, fortunately they are accommodating and judgement-free. Once I figured out the right size and what styles I liked, she radioed to a stylist to have them meet me when I left. She took me to the drawers of each bra that I liked and patiently waited for me to look at the colors to pick out what I wanted. While there are less expensive bras out there, NO ONE has been able to match the customer service judgement-free shopping that I experience at VS. That's why I continue to shop there.
The only reason I gave this experience 4 stars, instead of 5, is the poor girl behind the counter was also expected to pick up the phone. It was a busy Sunday afternoon, with a number of shoppers and a line of people at the register and she had to leave me standing there half rung up to answer the phone. She used the radio to find someone to check the inventory, then had to get back to the phone to give the caller the results. The people in the store should take precedence over those on the phone, I know it's a bit of a juggle but other stores are able to make it happen. Hopefully it was just a fluke this once.
I'll definitely go again. The mall is conveniently located at a trolley stop and, again, VS has always been my fave place to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI always have a great experience at the Fashion Valley Victoriaās Secret, but I have to leave a one star because of the experience I had yesterday. I walked in with my boyfriend just to browse around and the girl at the front immediately asked me if I wanted to be sized, etc. which I donāt mind since they always ask that question whenever I go. I told her that I wasnāt interested in being sized as I had just been recently sized by one of their associates. She asked me what size bra I wear and very inappropriately started telling me that the bra size I wear isnāt correct since thereās āgapingā at my cups. This was all in front of my boyfriend. It was such an inappropriate and public way to have this conversation and I felt so embarrassed and humiliated. I even checked my bra later and confirmed with my friend that there was no āgapingā and I knew my size was correct since I had just been recently sized by a Victoria Secret associate. Iām upset that this associate was completely unaware of social cues, didnāt speak to me with respect, didnāt acknowledge my privacy, and made my store shopping experience terrible. VS really needs to have a conversation with their employees about what is appropriate and inappropriate to discuss with customers. I will think twice before coming back to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNeeded a tissue. There was a bit of smoothie on the floor. I asked for a paper towel, something to wipe it up. This girl said no, you can try the kiosk around the corner. Being as this was a slip hazard, I found it remarkably unprofessional, lazy, and irresponsible as a staff member. I donāt want anyone to slip or get hurt so I humble myself and and go grab some napkins, the I come back to clean it. And a coworker stepped on it and grabbed their paper towels. I said wow, so you can clean the mess... I thought it strange since every store is required to keep a "clean" standard. This girl just stared blankly at me and the fact that she didnāt care about her work environment confused me Why would you have someone working there if they are a safety hazard? She obviously doesnāt care or have any pride or respect for the place.
I leave, not being helped. I come back and the same lady is talking tea about how I wasn't helped and it's not a big deal because I was buying 30 dollars worth of underwear. Well sorry to say I was spending 500, since I had lost a bunch a weight and am ready to buy all new clothes. But this person...
