Not only is there NO A/C, these dirt bags don't even allow you to have your own. Temperatures regularly OVER 100 DEGREES. Meanwhile, the only room with A/C is the office. For $1000 a month! If that and the massive unbelievable infestation of bed bugs and cockroaches isn't enough to keep you away, then the bottom-feeding parasites running this place should. These "people" actively target the elderly, those with mental or physical disabilities, and chronically homeless individuals who receive some form of housing assistance. Every aspect of this slum is designed to scam people with little ability to advocate for themselves out of every cent they possibly can. For example: there is a security guard posted at the entrance 24 hours a day. These people decided to install an entry system (bargain basement obsolete technology) that requires one hold a tiny fob against a plate for ten seconds at two separate doors to gain entry. If you even think about moving before that ten seconds is up, it starts over. At TWO doors. Good luck if you happen to be carrying anything. But here's the scam: that fob? It'll cost you 30 bucks to replace when you inevitably misplace it. For 30 bucks, Amazon will sell you 150 of those fobs. And there's STILL security at the front, which makes it just another pathetic scam to get every last cent. The used car salesman who calls himself the manager will tell you anything he thinks you want to hear, and it will be a lie. The icing on this cake was when some problem arose with my rental assistance, and this scumbag waited for SIX MONTHS to say anything to me, and even then it was just to try and scam me out of $5k! Instead of letting me know there was an issue right away, he intentionally waited until my section 8 voucher was irretrievably lost, and then had the nerve to try another tired con. Bed bugs and roaches! My advice: Do NOT move here. In my opinion I was treated poorly because I am white and Jewish. I feel the management is racist and antisemitic. I have lived here and was given a dirty, roach infested apartment. The day I moved in, in July 2023, there were dead roaches all over the apartment, the window wouldn't open or close, and the ceiling fan was covered in a thick layer of dust. My shower very rarely had more than 5 minutes of warm water, forget hot water. I had to take cold showers all winter. Different units turn up with bed bug and roach infestations each month. Enjoy playing that lottery. About one month after I moved in, I began experiencing harassment from my neighbor. The neighbor would bang on our wall, scream threats at me through the wall, and yell out into the hallway before slamming the door real hard. At one point the neighbor pulled a knife on me without provocation. I reported these incidents to the police and the apartment management. The police never came each time I called and the management would react defensively each time I tried to report the matter to them. They treated me as if I was lying about the harassment occuring and I was basically told by Saul, a manager, that if I don't like it I can move out. When I had no choice but to move out because of the harassment, they still refused to give me the $900 deposit back. I can provide more details to anyone considering moving in here. This place is a meth palace. everybody and there mother is on drugs. The building has over 400 rooms and there is a built in landline that is free to use when you call another room. So there are constant deals going on between rooms. There is prostitution going on everyday to. The bedbugs are super bad! small ones, big ones that pop blood on the sheets. Lift up your mattress and you will find hundreds of bugs in the corners. Roaches come in and out of the wood by the sink, from behind the heater, behind the mirror, in and out of the sink. The hallways have carpet that is full of this white anti bug powder. The kind that should be vaccumed up. but they dont do that so it gets grinded into the old, thin, dirty, carpet. There are drinking fountains on every floor, but of course they do not work. ha ha. There is a vending machine in the lobby that only gets stocked with expired products. sandwhiches, burritos, veggies, bagels, stuff like that. They charge less because it is expired. fifty cents for a huge turky sandwhich. People smoke in the hallways and through trash in hallways and stairwells. This building houses all kinds of people from violent fellons to sex offenders. All this and they still charge as much as they possibly can. Rent goes up all the time. And it is weird.
