Not a good day today with Mini service. On vacation from New York. My 2020 mini cooper S suddenly says change transmission oil. I call one week in advance to make an appointment, they confirm a transmission oil service. I show up on time at Mini for my appointment. They take the car. Three hours later service calls me and lets me know there isn’t any transmission oil available. Three hours waiting. They say can’t to the job until October. Don’t get it. Why doesn’t management know in advance that they do not have any oil? And then why make me show up without being able to do service? And why not give me a call in advance? Wasted one...
Read moreAfter about 400 miles, my brand new Countryman SE ALL4 (EV) would not unlock the charging port door. Cristian on the service desk checked it in and kept me updated. Unfortunately, they had to replace the charging port and it took two weeks for parts from Germany. Overall, not a great thing for a new vehicle, but at least Mini of SF provided a loaner and my car was back on the timeline promised. They even charged it :). Can’t ask for...
Read moreAvoid this place what ever you do. Over charge, sell you things you don't need, good chance they will tell you your car is not worth repairing and you should just sell it. They said that to me. Then they said my car as it is, only worth $1200-$2000. 2011 with 52k mi. I can't get a fun car for that! Had it towed too a different place to get a second opinion.
