terrible lost and found service. we took a bus from SF to LA at 22:10 and we missed the departure time at Avenal. Driver didn't wait and our luggage and backpack stayed inside the bus. Next Flixbus couldn't take us because it was full but gave us despatcher number and told that our bus after San Diego will come back to LA at 12:30 and leave our luggage somewhere there. Despatcher didn't help at all. Other buses were cancelled. We were there from 02:05 to 13:19. When we tried to ask official Flixbus support about luggage they said that we need to create request and wait for 14 days. Doesn't work for us. We are tourists and we had a travel plan. It was 17:30 when we arrived to LA. So, at next day at 10:00 on Downtown, LA we talked with another driver and he explained that Flixbus combine other companies under it's name. On our direction Tour Coach was working. Driver called to their office to Darold and we described our luggage. It was in the office: Tour Coach Charter, South Tubeway Avenue, Commerce, CA. There we got our luggage. They reported it 30min before our call. Before taking a trip by this company take a picture of driver, bus number, put a tag with your name and phone number on luggage and hope that nobody take it...

Do NOT bring a large bag. The bus driver won't let you take it on the bus. Do NOT talk to the bus driver. The bus driver will yell at you. Do NOT ask questions of the bus driver. The bus driver will yell at you.
This creates a catch-22, damned if you do and damned if you don't. You can't talk to the bus driver, but if you don't ask what time to be back on the bus at lunch he will also yell at you.
If you want to have a horrible, miserable, scary ride, in which a bus driver yells at you, intentionally swerves when people use the restroom, threatens to nullify your ticket, takes off from the rest stop without you (while keeping your luggage) because they don't bother checking to see if you're on board when he leaves earlier than announced, ride Flixbus.
FlixBus, where the bus driver will tell you that his job is to drive the bus to the destination, not the passengers. Literally, their job is "bus driver" not...

There was little communication at the time and we were left outside at a bus stop until 1:00 am (there was no shelter or anything). I made a complaint for a refund as the website stipulated that a refund could be requested if the bus was that late. I was told that because the "contract was fulfilled" a refund would not be possible, but they would give me a voucher for another trip.
