🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five Stars — The Reigning Champion of Pizza!
I don’t usually write Yelp reviews unless an experience really stands out — and let me tell you, Happy King Pizza absolutely deserves the royal treatment. From the moment I walked through the door to the very last bite of crust, everything was beyond exceptional.
Let’s start with the vibe. The place is warm, welcoming, and impeccably clean. Whether you’re grabbing a slice to go, sitting down with friends, or picking up a big order for game night, the staff makes you feel like part of the family. They greet you with genuine smiles and treat every customer like their #1 priority — and that kind of service is rare these days.
Now… the pizza. Oh. My. Goodness. This is not your average pizza joint. This is next-level, “can-I-eat-this-every-day?” kind of pizza. The crust is absolute perfection: golden, crisp on the outside, airy on the inside, and baked to that ideal balance of chewy and crunchy. You can tell it’s made fresh — none of that frozen, pre-fab dough nonsense here.
The sauce? Flavorful, slightly sweet, with just the right amount of tang and spice. It tastes homemade, like it simmered for hours. And the cheese… let me sing praises for that ooey-gooey, melty mozzarella that stretches when you pull a slice apart like you’re in a pizza commercial. Pure happiness.
Their topping selection is top-tier. You’ve got the classics, of course — pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, onions — all super fresh. But they also get creative, and every specialty pizza I’ve tried has been out-of-this-world good. The King Supreme is loaded without being greasy, the BBQ Chicken has that perfect smoky-sweet balance, and the Veggie Delight is a fresh, colorful, flavor-packed dream for herbivores.
Don’t skip the sides either — the garlic knots are heavenly (like, order-two-boxes worthy), and the wings are juicy, saucy, and perfectly cooked every time. And if you’ve got room for dessert? The Nutella pizza will change your life. No joke.
One of my favorite parts? The consistency. I’ve been here at least a dozen times, and the quality never wavers. That says a lot about how much pride and care they put into their food and service.
Prices are super reasonable too — especially for the portion sizes. You get serious bang for your buck here. Great for families, parties, or just when you need a solid pizza fix.
In a world full of chain restaurants and mediocre slices, Happy King Pizza is a crown jewel. They’ve earned a loyal customer in me, and I’ve recommended them to pretty much everyone I know. If you haven’t tried it yet — stop reading this and go now. Seriously. Your taste buds will thank you.
Long live...
Read moreHappy King Pizza is a popular spot for those craving a casual pizza experience. Their menu is quite diverse, offering a wide range of pizza styles, from classic Margherita to more unique options with specialty toppings. Many reviews highlight the dough, which tends to be light and crispy, a big plus for pizza lovers who prefer a thin crust. The sauce is flavorful, not overly tangy, and the cheese is generously applied.
One standout feature is their customer service, which tends to be friendly and efficient, making it a great choice for both dine-in and takeout. Pricing is generally considered reasonable for the quality of food you get, and the portion sizes are solid.
In terms of any criticisms, some patrons have mentioned that the pizzas can vary slightly in quality depending on the day or time of the visit, but overall, Happy King Pizza seems to maintain a loyal customer base.

Read moreThe restaurant itself doesn't look like it's trying to be upscale and seems to be in a transition stage (like they're still setting up the dining area part of the restaurant). So, I was skeptical at first about whether their pizzas would be worth the prices: we got a "large" (14") regular pepperoni pizza for ~$28 (pre tax).
It was delicious none the less! Not what I was expecting from a pizza crust though - crust is definitely NOT on the light and airy-side like east coast pies, not thick and dense like a Detroit or Chicago style, it's surprisingly DENSE for a medium thickness crust.
The pizza in the box feels heavier than expected for being a 14" maybe because of this, but it did have with a fair amount of cheese and pepperoni too.
We came back and had the chicken Tikka masala pizza after seeing it was popular in reviews here (large 14" for ~$32 pre-tax). The denseness of the crust makes a lot more sense now with how much toppings are in it And yes, this was...
