The Nails Story — Local services in San Francisco

yeah... I won't be coming back here. I've gone to my share of nail salons, fancy ones, dingy ones, and really I care about 1 thing, you get what you pay for. I don't expect amazing service if i'm paying $20 for a mani pedi, but for $24 pedi, and $34 mani pedi for my friend - I expected a LOT more than I got from KT.

A couple tips: Don't bother making an appointment. While I was there, 2 people walked in with appointments at 3, and both just left out of frustration since there was 1 person working and 4 people who were there at 3. I later watched them answer the phones and take down more appointments, but not write anything down... yeah... appointments aren't gonna count for much here.

File only! They cut your nails wayyyy too short! on one toe, she cut my nail so short, i'm still wincing when i walk. and when i told her it hurt, she glared and said "That hurts?"

Always ask upfront what the cost is. They don't have their prices listed anywhere, and from the reviews i'm seeing, they ask you to pay what they're feeling...

I have been getting my nails done with Vanna and her team for years. Vanna and her team are always the best. If you're looking to get a great leg massage with your nail package make sure you ask for her husband. You won't regret it.

My manicures and pedicures are so pretty and they last for weeks. I get so many compliments it's ridiculous.

Vanna and her team are kind, consistent, and truly place care into their craft. They are always willing to work around my schedule which I find is super great.

The salon is always clean and relaxing! You never have to worry about anything while your there. I really love and enjoy going...
