I went to this place for the first time today hoping for a good experience. I was very disappointed in the service. I had ordered a $13 smoothie. it sat on the counter for five minutes before our other food came out, and they did not tell us that our food was ready. Minutes later, I saw them walk out food to another person. Since our food was stacked poorly, we ended up dropping and spilling the smoothie all over. I went up and asked for napkins. They gave me a small stack to clean up a whole smoothie. Me and my boyfriend were on the ground trying to clean it up for 15 minutes and they offered no help. One of the workers even wiped down the table next to us that was completely clean with the wet rag and walked right past us offering no help. The only thing they did was restock the napkins station multiple times after we had to clean up our smoothie. they continue to stare at us from behind the counter and ignore us and do nothing about it, even though they clearly saw us. we will never be coming back. Why does this place have so many good reviews? Unfortunately the experience here left much to be desired. We ordered the smoked salmon toast, chicken kale salad, a pitaya smoothie and a pineapple smoothie. The smoked salmon toast was probably the best thing. Although it was small it was most well balanced in texture and flavor. The salad was very bewildering to me. The chicken seems like it had just come out of a plastic bag and had been boiled, I had no salt or pepper or any kind of seasoning. The only “flavor” from the chicken kale salad came from capers … and that flavor was salt. The kale was dry and the dressing wasn’t enough to make it chewable. Also, please de-stem the kale. The smoothies were watery. The real kicker of this place was that all that came out to $50+ which is really disappointing given the total lack of flavor in almost all of our dishes. Very unpleasant experience at the new location. Took 10 minutes to make my acai bowl, found out they didn't have kiwi. Once my bowl was done I realised they didn't put mango on top like I'd asked either. Walked all the way back for them to tell me they didn't have mango. I paid over $14 for a small bowl with acai, strawberry, and almond butter=not worth it by any means. I wouldn't have even purchased had I known they didn't have the fruits I wanted on my bowl, and it definitely should not have taken so long to make a bowl as simple as the one they gave me.
