There's an old man cashier that I try to avoid, but it can't always be helped when only one checker is open. He does not listen to me and nothing he says is audible, so I often have to ask him to repeat himself. I've gone here nearly every week for years and have bought the same chicken thighs each time. Recently, he is bagging the meat in plastic bags when they're already wrapped in plastic, then another smaller plastic bag is over them (the small plastic bags provided near the meat section). He NEVER did this previously, and no other cashier does this either. I handed him two reusable bags to put everything into. Meat does not need 3 layers of plastic. I told him multiple times "no," and that I do not want the extra wasted plastic, and he chose to argue with me over "sanitary reasons" and did it anyway. Nothing in the grocery store is sanitary! It's a filthy place! Everything is handled by so many people, on dirty shelves, on the dirty conveyer belt, even the floor, etc. By that logic, every single item needs an extra layer of plastic, but what good would that do? The chicken was fine and not leaking or anything. I do not appreciate someone arguing with me over my groceries that I've paid for. I find it incredibly disrespectful to disregard my request over items that are mine that I've paid for. I am bothered that I said "no" so many times, yet it was ignored. It's wasteful, rude, and honestly very weird to argue with me over what to do with my items. I don't particularly like this store for many reasons, but unfortunately it's closest to my home, which is why I go here. Not to mention the fact that every time I buy any kind of icecream here (specifically popsicles), they're always horribly misshapen. It's obvious when someone is stocking the icecream, they're leaving it out for waaaay too long before actually placing it in the freezer. Very frustrating. I need to stop going here. Something weird seems to be going on here every time I go and I don't have the energy for it anymore. I have much better experiences elsewhere so now it seems worth it just to drive a bit farther. Also why does this store smell...
Read moreWorst store in the county. Which is odd because the store in AG is amazing.
I’d give negative stars if I could. Why are most of the employees here so rude? I’ve been bumped into, ignored, and treated very poorly on a daily basis here. This is our neighborhood grocery store? They Literally ignore you.
Tonight the cashier just walked away and rang people up at another register. Left the line standing there wondering what was going on. She didn’t come back and started taking new customers down there. We all moved to the next register and he walked away twice, couldn’t have been worse. He didn’t say a word to any of us. This is regular from that individual, which is why I went to the other line first.
They face over product so they can hide how poorly they’re out of items. You don’t know what anything costs because all the labels have the incorrect item behind them. The both customers before me had items that didn’t ring up.
If you prefer Smart and Final, drive to another location because this one is a circus. Trust me, it’s worth the gas.
AG has a terrific crew and a Store Manager that’s always cheering and helping everyone. They’re also well stocked and all the cashiers are personable.

Read moreI went in to buy something and they didn't have it in such a big store which is fine, but when I asked an employee to help me, his manager told him to do something else. Then I asked that same manager if they had that item in stock and his exact words were, "I don't know man". Then on another visit, a couple weeks later, I asked for help finding something else, and a fat, bald, manager told me, "It's over there, in the far end", he didn't even look up at me. The managers are really dismissive and snobby, as if they were running a 5-star hotel, they don't seem to care much about customers, at least not as much as the regular employees. The checkout was horrible as well, on both occasions, the cashier's only said 1 phrase, which was the total. There was no "Thanks come again", "Hey how are you" or "Have a good day", which you would hear at any generic fast food joint, or read from a self-checkout machine. I would rather travel a little farther to the Food 4 Less across town, or buy my groceries online, than go back to such an...
