I love the cute clothes and unique styles offered at this store. The employees are friendly as well. However, my most recent experience at the fashion place store left a terrible taste in my mouth and I don't feel that I should come back. I walked in the store to return a dress that I bought a few days prior. I decided to browse around to see if I wanted to exchange for anything and the employees were very nice and friendly. They asked me how my day was, if I had fun plans, etc. After I decided I didn't want to exchange for anything, I approached the counter and told them I just wanted to return the dress. The employee immediately became very rude and acted offended that I was returning something. I told him nothing was wrong, I just bought it on impulse (with a lot of pressure from the south town employee) and decided I didn't want it. He very closely inspected the dress, inside and out, then very rudely asked if I had worn it. I told him I tried it on when I got home but didn't actually wear it around or out. He asked why I had pet hair on the dress if I hadn't worn it. I told him I had two dogs at home and the hair gets all over but I tried my best to check for any hair before returning. He rolled his eyes and continued to inspect the dress for a good two minutes, then asked where the other tag was. I told him I hadn't removed any tags and that was the only one on the dress when I purchased it. He then grabbed the same dress from off the rack in the store and compared the two together and asked again, if I had worn it. I said no again and explained that it sat in the bag in my room and came out once when I tried it on at home for about 5 minutes. He scoffed and continued with my return, being very rude and snarky the entire time. I was so disgusted by the way the employees personality changed from when he assumed I was a shopper, to finding out about my return. I left the store livid and annoyed by the treatment I just received.
I understand not wanting to except used merchandise and that there are people out there that do it but there are many different ways to approach the situation. The employee also should be trained on how to appropriately deal with a situation without making the customer feel shamed for simply returning an item. I can see based on other comments that I'm not the only one that this has happened to. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed because Bronxton is truly a cool store and I would love to support the...
Read moreI am a bit of a shopper, i consider myself very in on the trends, support smaller businesses, and love to test out new stores. With that being said I saw bronxton and decided to give it a shot and take a look around both men and women's.
I looked around and found a few things however nothing that I couldn't buy at another store being most of their stuff I have seen or seen something strikingly similar to. I bought shirt for 49 dollars (after feeling like I really inconvenienced the sales gal who had to reach up and find my size for me) and left without paying anymore attention to the rude employees and disorganized store.
I then wandered around the mall and stopped in Zumiez, Pacsun, Buckle and Bohme. I was blown away at the difference in customer service, store organization, and overall quality of clothing. They actually would help the customer instead of be rude when asked to find a size that was just out of my reach. I also noticed much of the same things as stated above in all these stores with a MUCH better return policy.( I didn't realize how strict the policy was until I read the two other negative reviews below me.)
I understand this store is Bronxton, not PACSUN nor Buckle or Bohme for that matter but I do think this store could learn a few things from all of them. Number one- customer service perhaps starting with the owner who rudely replies to customers who mistakenly gave their money to you. Number two- hire employees who don't mind doing the job they are being paid for.
Overall I would say skip Bronxton, save the hassle of returns(sounds like a real nightmare) and just shop other stores. This store really does not offer anything special nor do the owners higher employees who care about customer...
Read moreMy husband and I used to shop here all the time, all locations in Utah County and SLC. But DREAD going in now because for some reason all the employees are sooooooo exhausting. You cannot think or even look around for literally 5 seconds without them being ALLLLLLL up in your space. It completely ruins this store for us. Which is unfortunate. I donât know what changed (maybe they are only paid on commission) is what it feels like. But itâs TOO much. It was never like this until they ârevampedâ the store and changed everything to only menâs wear. Weve told sales employees there that we are good we donât need any help and they still continue to be all up in your space. Weâve also had many friends & family experience the same thing. Bronxton, you were a great store, but youâve got to do something with the customer service. Itâs so uncomfortable, we all feel like we canât breathe. We just end up giving it a try and get exhausted within a minute. No joke. Itâs just awful đ And all the insane price increase is a little excessive. Saying this as the exact same clothing and materials are found elsewhere for half the price they just donât have the...
