Sbarro The Shops of South Town Mall — Restaurant in Sandy

I have honestly never seen a crew work as slow as this crew in my life. That being said, pizza was great, the resturant was clean, but no one moved with a purpose or like they care. Specific types of pizza were sold out and when asked if there were more of that type (wife has extreme dietary restrictions) the server didn’t even know the pizza was out despite the entire tray being empty. The server moved extremely slow. There was also a deal going on, 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $10.99. I told the server that’s what we wanted, and the cashier rang us up for two individual pizzas with NO drink and it costs $2 more than the deal. The server “gave us a free drink” to make it right- even though we already paid MORE than the advertised deal. Service was not adequate or efficient from a business standpoint. It was painful to watch. 1/5 for service, 5/5 for food and cleanliness. The crew either needs to be paid more, so they are happy to work there, or...

Really flawed menu experience. I was ordering food for my kids, the menu said nothing about macaroni and cheese and we couldn’t see that that was an option from the order area. We ordered pizza slices and made our way down the line when my 6 year old started crying for the Mac and cheese once it came into view. Had I known they had that, she could have ordered what she wanted. The menu also shows Medium and Large as the only size options for drinks, so I ordered each of my kids a Medium assuming that was the smallest option. The worker forgot to ring us up for one drink and only then did I look around past the counter to see smaller cup sizes available than the gargantuan and expensive Medium that was way too big for any of my kids. My mom and I bought a small (the only size they have) "premium" salad, it's very small, and the lettuce was wilted and old, and the croutons were soggy. The man who "took" my order was in a black shirt (manager?) with no gloves on with filthy hands, he "took" my order then walked off into the back and didn't come back out til I paid. I stood there and waited and realized no one was even making the salad until I got to the register, and when she starts to make it she didn't know how and was saying "she's only ordering a salad?".
