Pinned Coffee Co. — Restaurant in Sandy

My husband was in line to order coffee and my 9 yr old daughter started choking and coughing nonstop while we were a few feet away from him. I ran over with her and asked the barista to add a water quickly. She SLOWLY tried to finish ringing up the drinks. We stressed “my daughter is choking! Can you get a water real quick” she could visibly see my daughter coughing up a lung next to me and instead of just grabbing a cup of water, she goes on to explain that we have to pay first. My husband literally had his card out and it’s not like we were trying to get a free water as he was already ordering other drinks. Again, she explained she can’t and has to charge us $1.75. Very frustrated at this point so we just said ok and watched my daughter continuing to cough violently while she walks over to get TAP water in slow motion. This was the absolute worst customer service experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. She had no regard for a child choking in front of her and insisted on charging us almost 2 dollars for what turned out to be simply tap water. Let’s do a training in human decency...

Pinned Coffee is hands down one of the best coffee shops I’ve ever been to! Their lattes and coffee are top-notch—smooth, rich, and made with care. But what really sets them apart is their amazing Red Bull drinks. They always have creative and delicious daily specials. Every combination I’ve ever tried has been incredible. Whether you need a caffeine boost or a refreshing pick-me-up, they’ve got you covered.

And let’s talk about the gelato… absolute perfection! It’s the perfect sweet treat to go with your drink. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the staff is always friendly. If you haven’t been to Pinned Coffee yet, you’re seriously missing out!

Me :"Can I sample the gelato?" Server :"We don't offer samples." Me - shocked. ' Really?" Server: "Nope. At 85.oo a tub, we don't sample " Me :a look of shock, cuz I've been to other cities that have Great Gelato that are offering samples because at the $$$$ price of Gelato, you want to love it. Me: "So if I don't like it, you'll give me a refund?" SERVER: "Why are you being rude ?" Sigh. Good luck selling anything. I certainly won't stop...
