Uncle Sharkii Poke Bar South Town Mall — Restaurant in Sandy

I have been to several different poke spots and tried many different restaurants that serve poke here in Utah (such as Savage Fish, Hearth and Hill, Laid Back, etc.). So far, I have been disappointed or let down.

For me, there are a few things that ruin a good poke bowl... 1) it's too sweet and not savory enough 2) it's too wet or runny 3) it has bad portion sizes between the proteins and vegetables 4) or mushy rice or rotten fish.

Luckily, this spot never seems to have those problems. It's the right amount of savory to sweet, the seaweed is not too wet or runny, and the flavors are on point! Overall, very delicious! I have ordered the ahi tuna and salmon with Sriracha mayo and everything that comes with it many times here, and I've always walked away very satisfied!

Is it the greatest poke bowl you will ever have in your life? No. But, honestly, it's still pretty great! This is my go to spot now. I am still looking around and trying other poke spots, but for now, I always seem to come back to Uncle...

Never thought I would have a five star review for a food court restaurant but here we are! The food was fresh, there was plenty of it and lots of choices for personalized dishes. The service was great, too. I’m kicking myself for not taking note of the name of the great employee that was working the counter (April 30, 2023) but he was so helpful and positive that I told him I’ll be recommending this particular Uncle Shark II location to my company and anyone else who needs to order food. I went to place an order for a Boba Tea, the Matcha Milk Tea. The thing is since it is a Boba drink, it would come automatically with Boba in it like every place that sells Boba drinks. Well not at UNCLE SHARKII, here when you order a Boba drink, you have to pay .75 cents per scoop of Boba. And it even shows a picture of the drink I wanted in the Boba Tea section with Boba in it.
