Men's Wearhouse — Local services in Santa Clarita

My visit to the Men's Wearhouse was very unpleasant and disappointing. My cousin is getting married this May and his fiancee and him decided to check out the Men's Wearhouse. I have always want to go so I was very excited to browse the suit inventory. There were seven men and two teenagers that went. One of the employee's spoke to my cousin's party about different suit options and pricing. After my cousin and his fiancee decided on the tuxedo suits that would be rented, a couple of workers started measuring the party. We waited about an hour and a half. The employees that were measuring my cousin's party started measuring other customers. However, we still needed two more guests (my uncle and I) from our party. I had to speak up and let the employees know. They weren't apologetic. The employee taking my measurements was not very helpful or professional. He looked bothered while measuring me and the others in the party and wasn't very informative. Also, had a little tissue inside his right nostril while measuring me and others. After taking my measurements, he gave me a jacket and pants to try on. Both items were very loose and baggy on me. I asked if he had a smaller jacket and pant I can try on. He said yes but someone else was trying it on. He didn't apologize for not offering me any other sizes or options. If I didn't ask for other slimmer pair of pants and coat, I would've never had the opportunity to try it on. As a customer I felt rushed to choose whatever clothes that he gave me. There weren't any questions he asked me, such as "How does it feel?" or "What type of fit are you looking for?". His unprofessionalism continued. I overheard him talking down to his coworkers. Although he could've been saying inappropriate comments out of humor, it was still unprofessional and sounded demeaning. Again, that was very awkward and made me feel uncomfortable. I had hoped for and expected a more positive experience from The Men's Wearhouse. Unfortunately, your employee's lack of professionalism made my experience very awkward, uneasy and very unpleasant. I will not be recommending this place to anybody nor will I be renting or purchasing from this...

Beware the online ordering process and tracking. My order was incorrectly listed as measured and ordered weeks in advance. To my surprise, the whole thing was a glitch and they had no record of any measurements or shipments. Of course Men's Wearhouse never called or notified me of this until the day before the event when I called in to verify they received the suit for pickup. Why would you right? Oh wait, I was told "the person who does the phone calls has been on vacation". Right.

Fast forward to the in store experience; I got remeasured and all that was fine until they proceeded to complain about "the guy who called in who will probably need a rush order" while I was standing right there. Luckily they were nice enough to mention it was me (by name) specifically. Add on the rush fees they tried to charge me for their internal mistake. Classy. Pretty terrible experience until the day of the event when a very nice associate called me and allowed the final test fit before the store opened because he knew it was an issue. This would be the only helpful person anyone should speak to in this store. Gentleman with an English accent (I think it was English).

To add some syrup on top of the garbage sundae that is Men's Wearhouse, they deleted my review from their website in what I can only assume is an attempt to sell to the next poor sap who only reads the positive ones...

This is the clothier to get the right suit, all the accessories, and tailoring available. I was in the market for a suit for my Son's wedding and had not purchased one for a while. A professional young woman, Jada, helped me through the whole process, no pressure, and sold me a modern style Kenneth Cole charcoal gray suit. This was an enjoyable experience...shop local in Santa Clarita and ask for Jada. I understand Jada is back at college so ask for Oscar who has received promoted to manager. Oscar when above and beyond to make sure my suit was tailored perfectly and on time for my Son's wedding. Oscar demonstrated excellent customer service bringing in my size suit from West LA, follow phone calls keeping in the loop, and old school salesmanship beyond his years.
