Hue-Chan and her team catered our wedding dinner, and honestly, it couldn't have gone any better. Unlike some other caterers, Hue-Chan's cooking isn't limited to a small menu of same old, same old items—you, know.... prime rib, salmon, etc. We presented her with a pie-in-the-sky wishlist of Central Vietnamese dishes and she not only took it in stride (offering thoughtful suggestions that tamed our over-ambitious lineup into a workable menu) but also knocked it out of the park when it came to execution. The dinner involved both pre-prepared dishes and items that were cooked to order live on-site, which delighted our guests and also ensured that everything was served with ideal freshness. The entire team was a joy to work with; they arrived on time, set up discreetly, and their friendliness shone through when they were cooking and serving our guests. The flavors were spot on, evoking our time living in Da Nang, and really helped make our special day even more special. Communication throughout the process was perfectly professional. Ultimately, beyond the quality of the food and the professionalism of the staff, what really stuck out to us was how dedicated Hue-Chan was to ensuring that we were taken care of, so that we weren't distracted from enjoying...

Can't say enough good things about Hue Chan, chef Erica and their team. They catered our small wedding this month and exceeded all expectations! We knew we wanted Vietnamese food for our wedding, and were so happy to find Open Kitchen. Hue created an outstanding menu with all our favorite Vietnamese foods- not only were my husband and I in love with the dishes, but even our less adventurous eating guests enjoyed! I highly recommend the Pork Belly Bao Buns and Chả Cá (Fish w/Vermicelli Noodles). Not to mention the BEST Gà Kho Sả (Lemongrass Chicken) I've ever had. Their presentation of each dish was lovely, and service was friendly, quick and seamless. We were so happy to see how efficiently and neatly they cleaned everything up for us too! My partner and I took a Korean cooking class at Open Kitchen and it couldn't have been better! Hue-Chan and staff were professional and quite skilled. The preparation that was done for the students was perfect, giving us enough time to do just the right amount of hands-on cooking, with well written recipes for us to do more at home. In a 3 hour class, we learned how to make several dishes, and still had the time for a delicious meal at Open Kitchen. It was my third cooking class with Open Kitchen, and I have enjoyed each one more than the last. I'm looking forward to attending more...
