May 2024 - I was back in Santa Fe and thrilled to see my favorite Ortega salesperson Robin, once again! She's top notch and thorough. If she doesn't know something she'll find out for you right away! I bought the most artistic beautiful Dragonfly earrings and am totally thrilled with them. I can't thank Robin enough for making my shopping experience so great! May 2023 - I had a wonderful experience today in Ortega's and the customer service was top notch. I'm not a high end customer and that did not matter. I was pretty dressed down in jeans and my favorite old Chicago Cubs t-shirt. Robin, the employee that quickly greeted me as I came inside, was very nice and so fun to shop with. I told her that I wanted to keep it under $200 dollars, preferably even less and she took care of me the same as any higher end client. I wanted a pair of earrings and still enjoyed perusing both the high end, which were gorgeous and fun to look at, to a much lower price point which is what I went with. The earrings were just right with just enough Turquoise at the braided ends of the silver dangles to catch the sparkle of the sun. Much to my delight she chose my very favorite backs to put on French ear wires and offered me my choice of a pouch or a box. Robin's customer service was exemplary. I was very pleased with my personal experience at one of the oldest and most authentic Native American jewelry stores in Santa Fe. Love this place for the great First Nation wearable art. So many styles! Denise has been there for a few minutes and she knows more than I’ll ever learn. I bought earrings right off of a staff member (thank you!) and last time I bought a necklace off of a (beautiful) clerk’s neck. They are just showing off the merch. Don’t try that with Denise, tho! She has a personal collection to dream over.

There are some more affordable pieces, but this is a showcase for masterworks. Even if you don’t plan to buy, check them. These pieces are from real Native American artists, not imported from another country to be passed off. Great service, amazing inventory, reasonable prices and...

My husband and I went in Ortega's while visiting Santa Fe. We were there for our 25th wedding anniversary. We were so overwhelmed by the beautiful TURQUOISE. We got his ring which was by the artist Earl Plummer. My ring which was Maded by Jenny and Benny Aldrich. We absolutely adore them. They will forever be so Special to us. But our experience at this shop was like no other. Denise waited on us and gave us so much valuable information on this JEWELRY. We can't say enough about her. She was such a lovely lady. We maded friends for life. We will definitely be back in to see her when we're back in...
