Sarasota Bay Club — Local services in Sarasota

Wanted to determine if the community even has any openings for Independent Living units vs. a wait list. However, the "chatbox" on their website simply provides a number to call no matter what your question is. I.e. USELESS

When I called the provided number for "Independent Living" questions and asked if they had any openings in Independent Living, a women with a gravely smoker's voice said she would "connect me with someone in HR" before I quickly cut her off to tell her I was inquiring about a relative LIVING THERE. So the people they have answering the phone don't even recognize when someone is trying to PURCHASE ONE OF THEIR CONDO'S.

After saying ..."Hmm, let me see if I can connect you to someone in Independent Living who can help with that" (again, this was the number the chatbox provided for questions regarding Independent Living), as though she wasn't even sure who that might be...I got cut off.

THIS IS A VERY EXPENSIVE SENIOR LIVING COMMUNITY. If they can't hire and/or train competent people to even answer the phone, why would you want to spend the money...

I was just here as an Uber driver. I dropped off a very nice elderly man, as he exited my vehicle staff asked me to wait since a woman need a ride with uber, I said no problem and waited. A staff member shoved this woman into my carto make a long story short she had already requested a ride and wanted me to take her. She and the staff couldn't figure out how to handle all this. She handed me her phone so I can get things situated the staff is now rudely telling me to go. That I need to leave and just leave this woman behind. I'm curious about them using me up and asking for help them being rude about it. Then to suggest I just leave this elderly woman waiting with no idea what's happening is...
