I’ve had an awful experience with this Restaurant, I went in to get shrimp fried rice and sesame seed chicken upon payment the cashier had a disgraceful look upon his face and as I was processing my payment, he was stating that I had insufficient funds and I couldn’t make my payment of $9.95 that and that I should call my bank, as I was there making the payment I did check my mobile app and I had well enough money to make the payment, so I went ahead and use a different card after explaining to him that I did have enough money and I even showed him my bank account statement through my mobile app, so I proceed through and used another payment method. I felt totally discriminated upon, and as I was reading the reviews before submitting this review, I noticed the owners responded back to another statement referring to me. The young lady was black or have Melanated skin as I and they think that it was me. This just prove to me that there is discrimination in that restaurant and as they did stated to her, I definitely will find another restaurant to go to that will meet my standards that is totally uncalled for and...
Read moreTHE ONLY CHINESE RESTAURANT I WILL ORDER FROM IN SARASOTA! Hands down the best food around. Pick up or small dine in area, no delivery. Always a wait because the food is that good, but totally worth it. Everything is pretty much made to order and delicious. You can tell that it is not soaked in MSG and sodium sauces. Vegetables are always cooked to perfection and meats and seafood always done right. I LOVE THE VEGETABLE SOUP! The dining area is very small only like 5 or 6 tables and no air conditioning, they keep the door to the restaurant open I guess for ventilation, but my family always orders for pick up. always call like 20 min ahead of time so your food is ready when...
Read moreYou know I get that this is discount food but it should at least be edible. Today I ordered the steamed dumplings and what sad sad excuses for dumplings they were. The dumpling dough was thick and flavorless. The filing had a faint hint of scallion along with some black dots and mystery minced meat. The dough accounted for 80% of the total dumpling. The one positive was the dipping sauce which was delicious. I taste soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar and rice wine vinegar but who knows? Do yourself a favor, save your $4.95 add a few more bucks and head over to the Spice Station for a flavorful steamed dumpling in...
