Brought my vehicle there for a new head unit and back up camera. I also requested them to run a set of RCA's to the back of the car since they would have to run camera wiring back there as well. Was greeted by a young man who was very helpful. I discussed my needs with him and I used his suggestions as to what products to purchase. Thats where the good part of this review ends.
The older man has zero customer service skills at all. Any interactions with him resulted in an attitude of contempt and the feeling that he was being bothered. Regardless the price was right for the services I understood were to be rendered so I left my vehicle with them and waited on the call to pick it up.
When I picked the vehicle up the young man spent the time to show me the head unit features and whatnot. They installed a back up camera, and I was under the impression that they would run a set of RCA's from the newly installed head unit to the back of the car, because they had to pull interior panels off to run the camera wiring. Instead, they coiled the RCA'S and left them under the dash. I took the vehicle regardless with no real explanation of why they didn't do what I had discussed with them
In the next couple days I found the rear speaker audio was very low. I was going back to get a sub box from them and some I stall parts so I would bring it up then. When I brought it up at the store with the young man who sold me the setup, he made the attempt to take a look at it. That was until the older man made the judgment that the factory Bose amp was going bad, and it a as at fault. Without looking at the car. Purely dismissive.
So instead paying them to troubleshoot it and fix it, I did it myself. I pulled the radio out of the dash and this is what I found. This is the sloppiest install I have ever seen. Terrible workmanship. Upon further inspection, the crimp caps feeding the rear speakers were not tight and the wiring was not properly stripped prior to crimping. I replaced the crimp caps with the correct amount of stripped wire, cleaned up the wiring with zip ties and put it back together. Now my rear speakers work just fine.
I will never bring any of my vehicles back here, or recommend them to anyone. Go to Crutchfield and buy the components, and get the tools from Harbor Freight and do...

I'm giving Extreme Audio 1star based on my experience with this place on yesterday.... long story short, so my husband purchased a system from them and had them install it, on the same day he was having problems with his system so he called Extreme Audio to let them know something was wrong with his system, so they told him to bring his car back which he did, he was told the problem was fixed.... but it wasn't this went on for about 8months and his system still wasn't right... they put cheaper radio's in and the wires was all over the place you could tell it was poorly done.... they stopped answering my husband phone calls and had nothing but excuses, mind you now my husband spent over $4000 at this place time we mention our lawyers they was texting and calling my husband, so they finally decided to give my husband the difference of the cheap radio they install so I get there for the refund I was greeted but time I said my husband name attitude was all wrong, was told to tell my husband to change the 1star and I said excuse me... I asked for a copy of the paper I signed or a receipt was told I don't get one the refund was my receipt and I'm in shock, then the guy go's on about us taking him to court and us saying he didn't refund us I was livit I couldn't believe how he was talking to me not to mention how he was talking to his employees, as a business owner myself I would never talk to my customers or my employees like that, and I do understand a business gotta get some profit but give people what they pay for and not a knock-off I will never do business with this place again nor my friends or family, do your research on what you want install read the reviews and don't settle for something you didn't pay for Bad business Bad customer service Very rude
Yes we did get 3 replacements that was cheaper versions, wasn't what we paid for but yall install them, so obviously it wasn't done correctly , and let's be clear you refund the difference of the cheap radio, and it has not been 2years so stop with the lying and admit yall screwed up and if I need to post receipts/texts I will.......
Read moreManager is nice and helpful but doesn't check his employees work. -Installed head unit and just threw some "beauty plate" on it to make it appear as if it fit but didn't even secure it down. (I would've been fine paying for the actual dash kit but the option wasn't offered to me) brackets to hold in rear deck speakers were not the appropriate brackets for the For The speakers/vehicle. Looks like they broke the stock ones to get the new speakers to fit. wires to rear speakers were pinched between the bracket and the rear deck. because of brackets the speakers weren't secure and caused horrible noise. Went to check, touched my speaker and it shifted with no effort. I'm no technician by any means and never done a radio or speaker install before but I took the speakers out and un pinched the wire, re set the speaker in the mounting bracket (as correctly ad I could with the brackets not being the right ones) and re insalled. Sounds way way way better immideately. Took me a screw driver, youtube and 40 mins of my time. The installers cut every corner they could. Its sad because the owner/manager seams...
