The 24/7 DIY option is a fantastic option if you follow your own programming. I will visit Savannah often now that my sister is stationed here and I don’t have to worry about trying to find a gym. The facility is immaculate and always clean and orderly. There’s a great variety of equipment too…not everything, but it will certainly help get your training in. I also dropped into a regular CrossFit class. The coach, Gretchen, was very engaging and knew what she was talking about when it came to higher skill weightlifting like the snatch. Member were inviting and seemed like they have a great community. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone in the Savannah area.
Edit When I first wrote this I thought the Echo Bike they have in the DIY section was an Assault Bike…so I misspoke when I said they don’t have everything. I was able to get all my training in without having to make any substitutions. They also had some issues with the lock, but were super quick getting the info out and finding an adequate solution to still be able to access the facility.
Edit 2 as of 1/14/25 I regularly use the DIY option when in town visiting my sister who is stationed at HAAF. I cannot recommend this place enough. It only has 5 stars for a reason my friends. They recently moved a bunch of stuff around and I like the changes. The owners and staff truly take care of this place and it makes it a no brainer to always come back when I’m in...
Read moreVictory Gym Savannah - Crossfit Y’all is my first Crossfit experience. I’ve always been curious about Crossfit but I didn’t think I could keep up in class. I was extremely nervous when I went to my first class but I immediately felt welcomed. I was greeted by name from the coaches and the other members taking the class came over to introduce themselves. No matter your level, beginner to advanced, the coaches will meet you where you are and they will work with you to come up with a suitable version of the workout. There are low impact versions of the prescribed workout should you have limitations. There is no judgement, no drama, everyone is on their individual journey, supporting and encouraging each other. I’ve been attending classes for a couple months now and I can already see a difference in my strength and endurance. The coaches are knowledgeable and take the time to go around to ensure everyone is performing the exercises correctly, making corrections as needed and giving pointers for improvement. The facility is clean and organized with top of the line equipment. There are also some nice amenities such as comfortable seating area, lockers near the entrance and a couple of bathrooms with showers. I’m glad I decided to try Crossfit and now it’s my favorite...
Read moreSuper experience as a drop-in average Jane athlete & former CF coach so I was looking for a few things in my hometown as I visit my people and want to maintain training: Gym amenities, cleanliness, equipment - 5 stars on all points. Brand-spanking new facility, spacious, top notch on set-up, bathrooms/shower, all new gear, floor to ceiling clean. Separate strength training/body building area to open in May for open gym and flexible hours outside of CF classes. Welcome, programming, coaching - 5 stars on all points. I was greeted well by athletes and coach Vic. Oriented throughout. Well structured online sign up, programming on electronic display easily managed by coach to run down WU, workout, CD. General and specific WU on point even for these 50 yr old shoulders for OH work. I noticed Coach was very attentive to an athlete with little experience. A modified and alt workout available along with Coach offering suggestions to the newbie, as needed, to optimize her experience and learning. Always great to see in a gym with high level athletes that they still value the average athlete’s experience.
It’s my first CF class in Savannah and I’m happy to see the growth of the community. I know I’ll have a great place to train...
