Savannah Coffee Roasters has an incredible vibe — I absolutely love the concept, the design, and the energy of the space. It’s a unique and creative place that clearly has a lot of heart behind it.
I especially want to mention the wonderful lady who took my order. I hope you somehow see this review — it’s Inal (remember, I asked you to help me decide between the tiramisu and the chocolate cheesecake 😊). You were so kind, patient, and warm — thank you! I actually decided to leave three stars instead of one only because of you. Otherwise, it would’ve been a one-star visit, and I’ll explain why.
The coffee and desserts were totally fine, but the cleanliness… was a big issue. Everything felt very dirty. I couldn’t even sit on the couch because people clearly step on it with their shoes. The espresso machine and counters were dusty and stained, and when I went upstairs, the stairs were full of grime. It was honestly uncomfortable to be in such a beautiful space that’s not being properly maintained.
In cafes like this back home in the Caucasus, you’d never see this kind of dirt — because in our culture, and in our faith, cleanliness is half of religion. I say this not as a critic, but sincerely, from the heart: please consider hiring a “cleanliness angel” — someone whose sole job is to keep this beautiful place spotless. I saw 4–5 baristas standing around chatting, and maybe it would be better to shift some of that payroll toward someone who keeps the café shining. I genuinely believe your business will thrive even more with that one small change, God willing.
I’m not claiming to be a successful entrepreneur — just a passionate coffee lover who wanted to share honest feedback. Thank you again, and all the best...

When I’m not on the road singing or performing in Savannah, I contribute freelance writing to Savannah Morning News. And Savannah Coffee Roasters is one of my preferred spots to work and write.
I like it because the space is large with room to spread out and focus on a writing project. If you arrive by 8 am, there’s also ample parking available.
But my absolute favorite is their Pavlova dessert made with whipped and baked egg whites and topped with whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries and blueberries.
There is nothing else like it in Savannah.
Pavlova is a dessert from Australia, and story has it, the most recent owners, who purchased the business 12 years ago, insisted on Pavlova being one of their signature sweets.
The wife of the business duo is from Australia. She knows the transformative power of this heavenly dessert made from scratch sometimes multiple times per day.
I come to Savannah Coffee Roasters primarily to work, but if you’re visiting the city, you must stop in for the Pavlova. It is truly a Hostess...
Read moreWe are from northern Michigan, and My friends and I were here for a Beettan Retreat in Tybee, and on our way out of town we wanted coffee and a treat in Savannah. We were recommended Savannah Coffee Roasters, and glad we took that advice. We each got a pastry or dessert to share, and they were all amazing. The tiramisu was good, not too strong in flavor. The Oreo espresso cheese cake was unexpectedly my favorite flavor of cheese cake I’ve ever had(and I have tried dozens and dozens of flavors in my life). But the all time favorite thing we ordered… and are so bummed we can’t have it every day… is the Pavlova… holy moly, it’s the fluffiest most incredible treat you will ever have. Did you have a bad break up? Get the pavlova. Are you celebrating something? Get the pavlova. Is it “that time of the month”? Get the pavlova. Are you bored? Get the pavlova… the list of applicable situations appropriate for the pavlova goes on. We couldn’t find a situation that the pavlova wouldn’t make better. The answer to any question is - get the pavlova. I’m quite sad that I live so far away. But until next year, I will dream of the day that the pavlova is there again in my life to...
