I was going to buy something on clearance, a young man at the register quoted me a price as there was no price tag. I gathered a few more items and by then another man was in his place. I asked him to please contact the other guy so I got the price he quoted, but he said he could sell it to me for 29.99 not the 28.00 I had been quoted and when I asked him about the other price he repeated himself more firmly. I said they could keep the item and proceeded to check out. In the meantime I forgot two items on the floor and when I realized it I mentioned it to him, he rolled his eyes looking at me and said OF COURSE. I informed him that he was unprofessional and unpleasant and I didn't want them after all. I don't think I will have any reason to go there while he's working there. He was so rude,...

Tonight 11/13/24 when I went in 2 men were at register. One on his cell ph, the other did not acknowledge me. I spoke first, " hi can you tell me where to find..." theolder, ruder man pointed to another man. I asked him about a product, and he did get me to what I needed. Upon leaving, I asked if I could use restroom. The you man who checked me out said " no washrooms". It was only then that the very unfriendly, old guy began to speak..." yeah no bathrooms". I cut him off saying the younger man had already informed me of this ridiculous "law". I worked at an Ace for 19 years! This place does NOT inbody the " helpful hardware place" AT ALL! The ONLY reason you got 2 stars was due to the 3rd employee who helped me...

Smaller than my old Ace with less knowledgeable employees. I went for a basic respirator with dust filters but only found the ones with filters graded for painting, more expensive... a lot of the merch are at the "I don't want to sell this" price but Home Depot is right down the street... 5 miles. Great place to find that fastener you only need one of though. Also, three times I've been told by different employees that they don't carry something specific I'm looking for, however when I go looking for it myself I always find it.

All in all great place to find that one thing you need that no one else has just don't ask anyone where something is because they will just send you right...
