Update: Another year in the books! We stayed (Tuesday-Saturday May 21st - May 25th, 2024) in the Once Upon a Time 1645 South Promenade. This is our favorite place to stay at after many years of coming to Seaside. And we look forward to staying at this house from years to come!

Our recent stay at the Once Upon A Tide home presented by Seaside Vacation Homes was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the beautiful location, convenience, and the overall experience provided by this wonderful establishment.

First and foremost, the location of Seaside Vacation Homes is truly unbeatable. Being just a stone's throw away from the beach allowed us to indulge in long, leisurely walks along the shore and enjoy the breathtaking views every morning & evening. The proximity to the beach made it incredibly convenient for us to spend quality time on the sand and in the refreshing ocean waters.

Not only was the beach access amazing, but the surrounding area offered an array of options for dining and exploration. With numerous restaurants and cafes within a short distance, we were spoiled for choice when it came to satisfying our cravings, whether that was for dining or for shopping!

Now, let's talk about the accommodation itself. The house we stayed in was beyond our expectations—spacious, beautiful, and well-appointed. The moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a sense of comfort and luxury. The interior decor was tastefully done, creating a welcoming and cozy atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The rooms were immaculately clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of beachside adventures.

The option to prebook for the same time the following year was something unheard of to us and got us very excited about the possibility of returning to this idyllic getaway. A++ experience. I will be using Seaside Vacation Homes rentals forever more. 44 8th Avenue is the best! We booked from 11/24/24-11/28/24.

We have been coming to Seaside for years, usually staying at the in-laws timeshare at Worldmark Seaside. Unfortunately, they sold their timeshare and we needed to look for other accommodations. This was our first time using Seaside Vacation Homes during the week of Thanksgiving 2024 and we all agreed that they are THE company to book with when staying in the area. I usually use VRBO when booking a home, but there is no comparison here. It is a night and day experience in my opinion.

Seaside Vacation Homes is in communication with you from the time of booking until checkout. Meaning that a real person calls you and leaves a message confirming your reservation. They are a locally owned company and are available to answer any questions/concerns not only about the rental, but about the area. This is particularly important to me because if there is an issue, someone will be able to address it immediately. This was the first rental I've booked that really thought about the little details and things you may need. While these things seem small, I believe this is what sets SVH apart from other rental options. For example, there were doggie waste bags and a towel to wipe off our pooches paws at the front door. There was plastic wrap, foil, ziplock bags, olive oil and a variety of cooking spices. There was a Brita water pitcher in the fridge! This was also the first rental I've stayed at that had stainless steel cookware! Such a welcome change from the scratched teflon cookware one usually finds at rentals. There were normal sized hair dryers and not the tiny travel ones that take so long to dry your hair. The home itself was immaculately cleaned. We rented Beach Keen, which is a prime spot with ocean views that is pet friendly. The house was spotless and did not smell at all. No dust bunnies, pet hair or sand to be found anywhere. That's an amazing statement knowing that it's pet friendly and right next to the beach. The night before we checked out I received a text with instructions of what to do before checking out, which included starting the dishwasher, locking all doors and windows and setting the temp to 55. All easy things and nothing unreasonable.

We enjoyed our time at the coast immensely and the rental was a huge part of it. It was clean, easy access to the beach, awesome views and close walk to the center of Seaside's restaurants. Can't wait to stay here again. Thank you SVH for a wonderful...

July 17-21 2025 - Another fabulous family vacation. We stayed at the Hidden Cove property for the 8th time - it's our favorite! This home is the perfect place to spend time all together in the huge upstairs great room, meals or game time around the table. Also plenty of space to spread out between the middle and lower floors. Comfortable beds, plenty of towels, linens and a well stocked kitchen. The location is great - steps away from the path to the beach or start of the prom for an easy walk to town. Our family has been coming to Seaside every year since 2008, always staying in Seaside Vacation Homes properties. Their homes and their guests are well cared for!

July 12-16 (1705 Franklin) We just returned from our 11th annual family trip to Seaside. Once again, we had a fantastic time! Each year we have stayed in a home that was booked through Seaside Vacation Homes. We are continually impressed with the condition of the homes - well stocked kitchens, comfortable beds, quality linens, etc.... For the past several years we stayed at 115 13th Ave. This is a really great home - lots of space for our growing family and you can't beat the beach access. And it's conveniently located close to the North end of the prom - perfect for our nightly walks from end to end. This year we waited too long to book and, because of our schedules and availability, we had to choose a new location. We stayed at 1705 Franklin and all agreed that is was AWESOME! It was a little further from the beach access and the prom, but not enough to really matter. This home has been well maintained. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a bathroom attached to it which was really nice for a little privacy. The living/dining room and kitchen area is very open and spacious with a table big enough for us all to eat together. The only complaint would be about the "game room". We were surprised that it's really just the garage that has a small TV, sofa and air hockey table. It was OK, but not really a place that anyone wanted to hang out. Overall, we loved the house and would definitely stay there again.
