Where do I begin? Iāll start by saying Iāve used Amazon, like many people over the years and have been very happy with their products, delivery and return policy. Maybe the best in the business. Hereās the problem; I bought a pair of Martin Login speakers on 1/19. On 1/20 I decided to cancel the purchase before it was sent. However I continued to get updated on the shipping of the speakers,they had been shipped. I was only able to print a āreturn labelā for product I havenāt received, but I waited for the delivery, which was supposed to be 1/30. I waited all day and at the end of the day, I received a message saying āwe are sorry but it will arrive on 2/5. So I waited and when checking the tracking, I noticed it was no longer able to track, but I waited all day on 2/5 and of course nothing. I then reached out to the shipper, which was supposedly Fed Ex, but when I went into my Amazon tracking, they directed me to the shipper, which was DHL I called them and instructed me to put in a 10 digit tracking number, but the tracking number by DHL was 12 digits. I finally reached out to Martin Logan and they said they had done the refund on 1/20. āAnything after that was the fault of Amazonā. I not only have pictures of my return label from Amazon, which the product was never going to be received, my tracking number, the message from Martin Logan and the email from a very helpful agent at Amazon, but who had no idea how the company as a whole had left me hanging. There are a lot of moving parts to this; Why did Amazon ask for a return within 24 hours of purchase? Why did I continue to show an arrival date? Why did Amazon direct me to a DHL phone number, where they asked for a 10 digit tracking number and mine was 12? Why could I not get a clear answer on what was going on? I will still not complain about the Amazon agent who did help me as best he could. Even now Amazon is telling that the delivery is delayed? I have that message as well. Martin Logan is one of the best speakers in the world for their product and service, they were very clear about the refund on 1/20? Amazon was very unclear throughout this process. I did reorder the Martin Logan speakers and will keep a close eye on my arrival date. Thereās not enough space to attach the different messages I mentioned in this review, but I would be glad to provide to Amazon customer service. Itās not the end of the world but I was hoping to have my new speakers set up with my 5.1 surround system for the Super Bowl. Overall this was poorly handled by Amazon! I will finish with this; my wife and I have always enjoyed our streaming with Prime TV, all of our purchases, service and expediency of receiving our merchandise over the years, which makes this all the more head scratching. In my opinion the shipping is directly related with the Vendor and the satisfaction is also to the Vendor. If they are too "cheep" to pay Amazon for their services for deliver and choose their own methods that should be able to be decimated to the unsuspecting public. However if you try to include any negative comments about the shipping methods these Parties use Amazon blocks it. Shame on Amazon!!! Here is an example. I chose a vendor that would provide me with a product at 1/4 the cost of all others. on Amazon Prime Market place. They promised a two day shipping. After two days of no delivery I checked and the notification on Amazon was that the item was delayed in shipping and had not shipped yet but that I would be notified when it shipped. I went to cancel the order but that link said the item had shipped. So i went to another Vendor who also promised a two day shipping and low and behold it was delivered in two days! I checked back on the other vendor and the links all showed the exact same thing! every day I try to cancel with the same results...Ten days later I have NOT received the product and tried to cancel yet again so I called the support line. after an hour I was finally able to cancel the item and get a refund. I still have not seen the Original item. I tried to write a review and was given the message.
"We couldn't post your review because it doesn't meet our community guidelines.
Please edit and resubmit your review. Before you do, make sure it meets all of our guidelines."
I went to the guidelines and it shows I can not make comments about the shipping methods, BUT! look at this review I submitted praising the shipping of the other vendor, AND AMAZON accepted it!!!!!! : great service they got the NEW Part to me super fast and it was so easy to install"
Again I say SHAME on AMAZON! you are setting people up for these predators that prey on peoples need for less expensive parts and products while not allowing them to be reviewed properly....

And my sister-in-law says I have a chip on my shoulder about management in big corporations. I put this down up front so hopefully what follows will impress those who read this little blurb.
Amazon-Prime is the BEST company I have ever done business with. From day one I have been impressed with the organization of Amazon and especially their ability to do what they tell you they are going to do. $13.00 a month for the best Sears and Roebuck(I'm a little older) catalog on internet earth, PLUS Free Shipping, PLUS a Delivery Time Amazon has not missed yet(not a super shopper, but I have ordered a lot from them), PLUS for the most part Free Returns(have returned a few things, and even one big ticket item, never heard a quibble), PLUS the easiest checkout I have used, PLUS Prime Video(we got rid of cable TV once we figured out how to use this and other apps like it, save thousands a year), PLUS and the main reason I am writing, you are not only meeting your delivery schedule, but exceeding what was promised(by 6 days), that is amazing during the Christmas season. OK, beginning to get a little nauseous, and imagine you are too, but believe I hit the highlights and sticking with my story!
Have worked on the ground level for three large corporations in my career and know that it is these people who make a large business prosperous, and these people do their jobs VERY WELL at Amazon. I also know that without excellent leadership, great imaginative thinking, and DOING what you say you will do, you can't get something this big to do a great job, Amazon does.(my sis-in-law will never believe I said this!)
