My wife and I placed an order with Arden home after being scammed by Interior Define and their bankruptcy proceedings. We felt comfortable with AH being local to Seattle (and L.A., our former home city). I first made contact in early January looking for a ballpark quote on the Holland Chase, Niki's response was prompt. We then went in to the brick and mortar location to see some models in person. Although they didn't have a Holland in the showroom, we were very impressed with the quality and feel of the couches. Niki happened to be there at the time and helped us pick out an appropriate fabric that would match the new rug we were waiting on. Based on our interaction at the showroom, my wife and I decided to place an order. We went in 1/8, had a quote 1/11 and after some back and forth, placed the order on 1/22. Once the order was placed, it took about a week for the factory to confirm the specs, at which point AH has you come in and sign off on the design. Just about every aspect of the couch is customizable but we were lucky in that the Holland fit our needs in its stock configuration so the confirmation process was quick and easy. I confirmed in person 1/28 and we received our couch 4/16, pretty much exactly when AH quoted us for lead time. We were informed on a Thursday that our couch was ready and would ship from LA to Seattle, it was delivered that Sunday. incredibly fast! The quality is top notch and the couch came out perfect. We've worked with Katie at Plantation Design twice for custom furniture. The first time, my husband had an old red leather chair that was really worn and falling apart but he loved it so much he didn't want to get rid of it. I went into the store and Katie said they could recreate it for him. So, I took pictures and measurements, and picked out the leather. It turned out so good, my husband loves it and I"m happy to not have that old chair in the house anymore!!

We also ordered a bed for our new house that we absolutely love! It turned out really beautiful! We worked with Katie again on customizing everything including the height of the headboard and footboard, the fabric used, how many buttons we wanted, and the stain of the wood used for the feet. Katie took the time to understand what we needed and helped us with it. I never felt rushed, you can tell she really knows what she's doing and enjoys it. The whole process was really fun. The quality of the bed is excellent, exactly how we wanted it. I can tell we will be able to use it for years to come!
