If I could give negative stars I would. I do not recommend buying from this company! Their Customer support is sub standard, less than helpful, and your return product will be dirty or not match what you sent in.
My experience is with Fjallraven's customer support and a manufacturer defect. I ordered online a nuuk winter jacket. After it arrived I discovered a manufacturer defect with the hood.
I contacted Fjallraven's warranty department via their online system as they have no telephone support for this service. I submitted the appropriate form, photos, and videos to show the defect. They said they could replace the jacket if I shipped the current product to them.
Fjallraven's product arrived to me defective and their customer support refused to provide a shipping label or cover my costs shipping the jacket back to them.
I will likely not purchase from this company again due to their poor customer support.
**Update, upon sending back my jacket Fjallraven was unable to replace the item because it was "sold out". They said they could "pull" my jacket from the warehouse and repair the defect.
Weeks later the jacket I received back was filthy, either someone in the factory was wearing it around before fixing it or they sent me a different jacket back.
The jacket I sent in was Brand New. The one I received back has stains all over, the cuffs are incredibly dirty, and there is lint build up. Gross!
I do not recommend buying from this company. They do not honor defective brand new products, they will repair but at your cost, and will send your product...
Read moreThe products speak for themselves, but the staff here is amazing. Been here a couple of times, but in my first visit one of the sales associates asked me if I had waxed my canvas chore coat (non-Fjällräven), and proceeded to smooth out the wax on my amateur attempt. The second time I went in was to buy a wool sweater for my wife, which she loved. I could not find the hat I was looking for, so they helped me order it. While there I noticed their service side of the house was busy, and I got to see bags that you know there are stories. I asked to take a picture of one of the bags getting repaired which was vintage. See pic on orange bag for reference. Bought some wax for my Kanken hip-pack, see pic. Day 1 vs. day 598 and the other pic is post wax. Fjällräven should consider doing a marketing campaign where people show their bags and tell there stories; this was an idea of yet another sales associate at the same store, which I personally would love to see and here this. Bottom line, you can buy a backpack anywhere, but theirs is the best. Any other product I’ve acquired I have used and its quality is superior, but the best thing is its employees. Also have visited the outlet north of Seattle and can say that the staff there is...
Read moreThe store is in a great location of Seattle for tourists and you can definitely tell that the sales associates they hire are for this purpose. I miss the customer service I received when this store was at 1st and Seneca.
Though the Fjallraven products are great quality, the customer service at this store is terrible. For me to get any help from a sales associate, I had to track someone down. The items generally do not have a price tag on them. I was misquoted a price by the associate who helped me. I was at the register paying and learned that the pack was $100 more than what I was quoted.
Also, it might be a good idea to call this store prior to stopping in especially if you are making a trip into downtown Seattle for the purpose of stopping in at this store. They often have store events where they close the store to the public. I have on more than one occasion shown up for an exchange only to be told that the store is closed during regular business hours.
If you are looking to buy a Fjallraven Kanken in downtown Seattle, I would check out Wayward or Nordstrom’s for better customer service. If you are looking for some knowledgeable staff for hiking gear, head to REI or Patagonia because the folks here are like hipster...
