Tip for Cruise Parking Prepay Exits - you need to go to a booth with a person in it to be able to exit. Now here's the full experience story, but I had read a bunch of mixed reviews about safety and security, especially for cruise passengers. Although we did not have a problem when we parked there, we did take the time to hide everything in the car so it was not visible and we parked near an elevator so it was potentially more light. The reason I have it 3 stars is because the entire experience was confusing if you pre-pay. Confusing parts - even if you pre-pay, you have to take a ticket when you arrive. That ticket is what they will need to open the gate when you leave. The actual cruise parking part was up a few floors and in the back section of the garage. If you take the front elevators...you have to hike to the back section. The nice thing was that there was a shuttle driver that was roaming when we arrived and he parked and grabbed our bags and took us the block to the pier. He showed us where to drop our bags, where to expect him when we disembark, etc. Biggest frustration we had was probably because we walked off the ship earlier than is anticipated (6:45am). The shuttle driver had not started his runs yet, so there was no sign to greet us and tell us where to line up. We ended up walking to the garage towing our luggage - I did end up seeing the shuttle driver head over while we were already on our way. The next issue was that when we got to our car and tried to leave, the exit doors were closed and there was not a person at either of the exits to help. The ticket we had was the one to lift the exit bar. When we put that in the machine, it wanted us to pay for our parking - which we already did. I tried calling the number on the site, but no answer. Finally saw another car waiting by the 5th level exit and we decided to mirror them figuring they looked like they knew what they were doing. They did! Finally an attendant arrived at 7:30am. Since we prepaid, they handed us a list of names so we could show them which was us and verify that we had paid. With that, they opened the garage door and our other ticket opened the bar for us to exit. Once that was done, it was fine, but that was a really clunky process with a lot of uncertainty. I hope they find a way to modernize it in...
Read moreI work on the pier my work has a deal with the garage for cheaper parking for it’s employees so I park here 5 days a week. There are two people that patrol the garage that are particularly aweful and I really do not think that there’s a reason for them to be employed there anymore, as they are consistently extremely u professional and rude. There’s an older lady that I haven’t seen in a while (so she may have been fired) but there is also an older gentleman that has been extremely rude to me, harassed me, taken pictures of my license plate because my tags are expired (which has nothing to do with his job title, as he is not a cop) and has refused to let me out of the garage before. He harassed me again tonight because my card was declined so I reversed back into to the garage to send some money over to the card that I had on me and go back through and he was yelling at me telling me I was trying to steal from him and took pictures of my plates, all while the other attendant had my debit card in his hand. I was clearly trying to pay and did when I left but he was extremely rude and unprofessional. I’ll be calling the garage tomorrow to let them know they shouldn’t be employing people who are harassing and cussing at people who pay them...
Read moreFor cruise parking, we DO NOT RECOMMEND! We booked online 4 months ahead and paid $163.00, and then with changes the cruise line made shortly after, we needed to change the dates of our cruise. We called and emailed for over a week and never got a hold of anyone, so we made reservations with another company. Finally, I received two phone calls 10 days later from Jonathan Foutz, the manager, saying we would be refunded. It’s now 7/24/21 and after several calls and emails, we still have not received any refund. We booked with Seattle CruisePark Services, at the Armory. They are an I dependent company with great customer service and they have full service valet parking at no extra charge. I think it will be much more secure. We really wish we had gone with them initially but our travel agent recommended this company. She even tried to call for us and never got though and never heard back anything.
UPDATE: We finally did get a refund but it took a...
