Looks amazing, tastes good. My visit at bang bang was exactly what I needed during my trip to pike place. I was there for over an hour looking round and my body was not interested in anything inside the market. Bang bang is just a few blocks outside of the pike place market and for sure worth the walk. I decided to order online while I was still at the market so my food was ready when I arrived. As I was walking up my food I was shocked by how chill the vibe was in the area. No much going on outside, just beautiful nature and buildings, which was perfect for dining outside. The dining area inside felt small so I’m glad I was able to eat outside on a nice day. Once I was inside I was treated by very nice servers. It wasn’t busy so I’m not surprised I got fast service. Even tho it’s small inside the decor was very clean and nice. They even offered to put my Togo order on a plate when they realized I wasn’t to dine in. It was nice of them to let me pick a seat before they brought me the food with utensil and water. Yes their water and utensils were up to my standards. Which doesn’t happen every day at corner cafes. The menu is somewhat limited, but they have enough options. It was a bit difficult figuring out how to get something with brisket in it until I realized for certain orders you just have to pay extra for the meat. The only thing that I was not so thrilled about, was the price. Almost $20 for a smothered brisket burrito. Not terribly over priced and I did have left overs. As beautiful as the sauce was, the flavor wasn’t as vibrant as the colors. Don’t get me wrong, it did taste good. However I left wishing the sauce came with more bang in the flavor department. Or a one bang 2 bang option. I mean, the name is bang bang cafe, not just bang cafe. Jk jk, but with a serious face 🤣😑🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️

I came here two years ago for a vegan cream cheese bagel and it was by far the worst experience of eating a bagel I’ve ever had. Maybe I entered a vegan time warp episode of the Twilight Zone where foods were being misplaced and swapped around from their entrees. Did I lose my taste buds forever?! Maybe it actually wasn’t vegan and they were throwing that word again. Fortunately, my taste buds remind me they’re still kicking and eating meat and dairy-free is still accessible in this day and age. At the same time though, a bar has been lowered. How can a vegan bagel be THAT bad, it can’t be true. The cream cheese is gritty, sloppy, messy, watery and tastes like olive garlic hummus. It is truly bizarre. I came back again excited to try their grub again, hoping employees changed over or recipes were updated since my return. Maybe someone made the batch wrong last time. Nope. Very sad for vegans alike but I’m noticing the crowd here and it looks like they cater to upper class Amazonites who live in the new condos around here. Not ones to fully appreciate eating plant based or tofu based, I’m guessing. $10 for a bagel and coffee explains how they just opened a second location in south seattle. 1 star for at least offering vegans options compared to most places in Seattle. I heard the burritos were good (though I won’t be back) but whatever you do, don’t get the cream cheese.

When you step in here, you will notice the most friendly smile greeting you from across the counter. The customers that come before and after you are spoken to like family, those customer who frequented this eatery on the daily and sometime 3x a day because the food is AMAZING. Did I mention the food is amazing. This is the first time here as I googled "Best Vegan Breakfast Burrito in Seattle," and this place popped up. I got recommendations and went with the breakfast burrito smothered with red and green chili sauce made vegan and to accompany my burrito I got a Cardamom Oat Milk Latte (Homemade Cardamom syrup). The first sip of my latte blew my mind at the robust flavors intertwining together in a beautiful dance. I thought of taking a small taste of my burrito before driving home 75 mins away, but that did not work out well for the burrito. The blend of authentic flavors that met my taste buds made them dance like never before. I will definitely be back for more in the future. If you're looking for the best vegan breakfast burrito, it is here at @BangBangCafe. They have a lot of options on their menu and can make menu items vegan if preferred. FYI, they have beautiful baked goods, but that is for another visit. Thank you, Bang Bang Cafe, for such a wonderful experience. Come check them out
