An adorable and whimsical shop filled with a plethora of creative merchandise, filled with playfully imaginative designs. Few things are inexpensive here, but the prices are not overwhelming considering the location in downtown Seattle, and the objects sold are of very high quality. Deliberate and thoughtful work and artfulness clearly went into the development of these objects, both in their design and in their physical craftsmanship. The employees at the store are very considerate and knowledgeable: one of them was from the United kingdom, and I talked to her a bit about Scotland, as I had done my masters there. I purchased a little turtle magnet for myself and a more expensive ornament of a sloth embracing the Space Needle as a gift: the latter is a particularly charming piece of Seattle memorabilia. There is a kind of elegant quirkiness to the shop that is reminiscent of the winsomeness that is so much more common in my experience in the United Kingdom but is here very particular to the culture and the ethos...

I went into this store while out with my family, who wanted to exchange a defective train product after already speaking with the staff a previous time in the day. The staff were not willing to offer an exchange and inappropriately accused my family member of screaming and yelling, and I can confirm that as a witness to the situation, that is not what happened. Screaming is a hostile and aggressive behavior, and what occurred in the conversation for the exchange was definitely not this type of accused behavior. As an owner, it's poor taste to make a customer look bad just because you received a bad review. As a small business owner, it would make most sense to try to work with customers in the community to ensure continued business...

For years we have frequented this store, so I’m disappointed to write this negative review. My child purchased a wooden train kit that the associate assured us would be easy to build. The kit was built according to the directions and the mechanics immediately disconnected and stripped the gear. We took the kit back and asked to exchange for store credit. An associate instead replaced the gear. We then took it home where the mechanism immediately failed again. We returned to the store yet again and asked for store credit. We were told that we could contact the manufacturer for replacement parts. There are many adorable products and interesting kits in this store but unfortunately the management is such that we...

I came to this shop after seeing their cool painting/advertisement near the Waterfront viewing point at Pike Place Market. I was met by a kind gentlemen named David who was extremely polite and informative. David went above and beyond to explain how they get their products and who creates them. All their products are locally made from local artists. I picked up some cool magnets which are of top quality (not like that cheap stuff made in China). The whole store has a very cool theme to it. They sell products ranging from $2.50 magnets all the way to $100+ paintings and high quality merchandise. I will be back for Christmas shopping for sure.

I am so very grateful to the very kind store owner and artist for the beautifully wrapped gifts that arrived unexpectedly in my mail box. The super cute animal socks are so comfortable! I love the beautiful sloth bag it makes me smile. It is the perfect size for shopping! I love the wonderful print of Pike place market with the most adorable animals mooching around. The pin is super sweet too! I feel very blessed, it was a highlight of my holidays opening my suprise gifts. Thank you so very much for such adorable, cute, and fun art. I can't wait to visit the shop in real life!
