Steer clear, itās not worth the convenience. I want good small business to succeed, and there are several just around the cornered that deserve your business.
Need coffee or breakfast? Go to Freya on Western, 3 minutes away up the slight incline. Need a grocery or deli item? Go to Paris-Madrid market on Western, also 3 minutes away up the slight incline. Need a soda? Go anywhere else really.
We have given them three chances now, a 1 star average is unfortunately generous.
1.) we ordered lattes and breakfast sandwiches from them and the coffee was bland and not worth finishing. The sandwich fixings were overcooked and dry, and there wasnāt an ounce of seasoning or care in how it was made. 2.) We bought a bottle of wine from them and discovered it was spoiled immediately when we opened it (probably not their fault, this happens from time to time). We brought it back to exchange it and were treated very poorly, being told there were no returns/exchanges and it was not their problem. It took returning another two times until the manager was present to get our money back. 3.) we needed jam and ran down to their store where they had several options. When they scanned the jam, it didnāt register and they spent a few minutes manually typing in the item. Another man came in after us to buy something and he helped him but still said not a word to us as we waited to be greeted and have a sandwich to be made. We just walked out as why would we give our money to a business that clearly hires unhelpful employees. Do better.

I came in asking if they had a first aid kit and not only did they provide that, they sat me down and disinfected my cuts (changed out their gloves) and put bandaids on and let me stay there until I felt better. They have a special place in my heart and I wish I could have done more than give them a thank you. Iām so happy and wish we had kinder people like...
