We decided to embrace our inner tourists and explore the sailing scene in Seattle, and we're so glad we did because it turned out to be an absolute blast. Although the sailing conditions were a bit breezy, the evening was filled with beauty. We were fortunate enough to capture the stunning summer sunset while floating on the Salish Sea, and it felt like a stroke of luck. During our excursion, we were thrilled to spot both a harbor seal and a porpoise, adding an extra level of excitement to the experience.
Moreover, we had the opportunity to forge new friendships with visitors from Houston. To elevate our evening, we brought along a delectable assortment of wine, cheese, and meat to share. It was the perfect addition to our outing, enhancing the enjoyment and creating a memorable atmosphere.
The crew members on board were attentive and considerate, going the extra mile by offering us blankets when the temperature dropped. Their kindness was much appreciated. While there wasn't extensive interaction with the crew, we found that this activity is better enjoyed with friends or family, as the focus is more on the overall experience rather than constant crew interaction.
We couldn't be happier with our sailing tour and highly recommend it to others. It provided us with a fantastic time, surrounded by natural beauty, new friendships, and the perfect combination of relaxation...
Read moreGreat experience and well worth the money! We had a great time on the sailboat and going around the harbor. I also highly recommend the sunset cruise it was great timing and led to great photos. We would definitely do it again. My only feedback would be that I wish it was clearer when people are arriving and checking in how the ticket process works different boats have different tickets and they only explained it apparently when people first arrived 30 minutes before departure but when we got there it wasn’t explained until they started loading people on the boat and we were very confused where to go since there were probably 60 to 70 people just standing around everywhere waiting to load on the boats and you couldn’t hear them properly. Also, for those who have disabilities or stability issues they should be given some kind of notice or options to get a seat on the boat that is accessible for their disability. Some spots on the boat require two hands and balance to be able to stay seated properly on the boat and not all people on our boat could do that. There weren’t even really seats on most of the boat you’re just sitting all over the boat deck and hull and trying not to slide off when the boat leaned side to side. Some people had to sit on a cooler blocking the path to inside the boat because there is nowhere else for them to sit without...
Read moreYesterday 8.6 2023 myself, my daughter and my niece book a ride with Sailing Seattle. We pre booked our reservation which came with sailing instructions. The sailing experience was amazing and we were ready to book Sailing aint Seattle again until about 40 minutes into our trip. A situation that the head sailor had with us and commercial adds that were playing on a Pandora station we were playing for music. We felt like the head staff sailor was in 2023 profiling us. If this was a rule why did he wait until 40 minutes into the trip to state "its a rule that you can't play music with commercial adds" if he it would have there would not of been a problem. We were playing old school R &B music which was fine with the couple sailing with us. Because we asked the head sailor where was this posted or doucmented he was going to cut the adventure short and return to the shore but the other staff talked him out of it. I told him I will play utube where there aren't any commercial adds.. We were able to enjoy God's beauty but still reflected that we as Black women ages 60; 34 and 25 still have to be reminded of racism in the world today.... I gave a small tip leaving the boat, I told the guy the tip was for the experience not his...
