I only go to Walmart when I can't wait the two days to get it from Amazon. On those occasions when I absolutely need it today, I always check the Walmart app to make sure they have it in stock. So when I go there and search for it for twenty minutes, and while we're on the subject of searching can I talk about their isle numbering system? What the heck is with the alpha-numeric isle numbering system? Where the heck is K26? I would expect the K section to be between sections J & L but nooooooo it's near section G. Who does that? Why not isles 1 - 300? You know what comes after 102? I'm guessing 103. Probably 104 after that. I can work with that. I can count to way higher than the number of isles they have in their store. Random alpha-numeric sections 1 - 30 all over the store placed Willy-Nilly (only old guys say Willy-Nilly) just wastes my time. Numerically numbered isles is a system that has worked for years!! Embrace it Walmart. Anyway back to finding my supposedly in stock item according to the app that in actuality is not in stock because the website is wrong. What do you mean it's wrong? I came here specifically because the app said it was here and I couldn't get it on Amazon in a day. NOT COOL! What's better is they know the website is wrong. They have these company issued cell phones or devices that check the location, price and availability of an item BUT they don't do anything about it if the site is wrong. They'll actually tell you "yeah it's been wrong for a week". You're kidding me right? Again NOT COOL! Sometimes you get an item on the website that say see associate. Yeah if I see that I'm not even going. What does that even mean? What even they are not sure where it is? So other than that, Walmart is great to find low quality stuff that you can't get from Amazon (I worked Amazon into this post 4 times. Pretty funny huh?) in a day at a reasonable price. Oh yeah put some extra cashier's on your checkout lines are crazy. And I do t like self checkout. Even that is full of customers who can't figure out how to do it but I'm not even going there. Did I give them 3 stars? Probably should have gone with 2...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePhone service is terrible. Clicked 3 to check on a pickup order. The lady picked up and told me she has to transfer me to someone else, which defeats the purpose of me clicking the 3 for pickup, but anyways, he didnāt pick up and I got retransferred to her two times, then she said well Iāll transfer you to electronics, they work together, no answer, got transferred back to her again. And then once I said something about it, she transferred me once more to and I finally got in contact with the guy I needed to talk to. They sent me a text that my pickup order was ready and after all that, a 15 minute circus, he tells me itās not ready check for an additional email in 20 minutes. I proceeded with are all the items in stock? And he was like, āI donāt know I have to take the walk. Just keep checking for an email. If itās not in stock basically just wait a few more days.ā All this information is contradicting, thank God I called first. Like what in the world was that...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreA perfectly fine Wal-Mart to visit, but making a phone call to talk to customer service today turned a simple question into a labyrinth of avoidance and incompetence on their part. First I got transferred to customer service who picked up the phone after a few rings and put me on an immediate hold without saying a word. I wasn't sure if they knew I was on the line, so I called back and pressed "0" for the operator, then the phone rang over 60 times. I hung up, then called back and hit "3" for another department, had them transfer me to customer service. Then after another 30 rings, they answered, got an idea of my question, then transferred me (accidentally?) back to the irrelevant department I called in the first place, who transferred me back to customer service, who then transferred me to an unidentified, manager sounding type person who answered my question quickly. Moral of the story: Don't hit 0 when...
