They seem to be used to dealing with desperate people and have a set of tricks to further lower their offers, like pointing out some “real” issue with your items that are “well known in the market” so no one would pay higher than them. Another sketchy trick is they automatically try to get you to group all your items into one transaction so that the aggregate of multiple lowball offers appears like a lot of money. By saying no when getting an offer below a well researched reasonable price (one that factors in they will resell) you’re essentially putting them at a loss and they’ll be more reluctant to lowball you so easily hoping to minimize their loses Always research what you item costs and factor in a small discount from the likes of eBay or Amazon to offer a reasonable price that allows them to resell profitably. Don’t let them lowball you. The wait you get as they determine their offer is them searching how low they can go so don’t feel bad to walk away or negotiate for a better and fair price even if they try to guilt you by making pretend they’re having issues processing your higher price offer by saying “the system” doesn’t have options to justify your price so let them “struggle” or better said, try more...
