I just went in to get my engagement ring resized. I dealt with a woman named Crystal who was nothing but rude. For starters, she never said congratulations which is something I heard the other women working say to the couple on the side of us. She was overall very unpleasant and made it seem like we were bothering her with any questions or requests. When she was resizing my ring, she tried on one that was too small and was almost yelling at me telling me to relax my already relaxed finger when she couldn’t get it off. She got all the resizing information and neglected to inform/remind us that we get a free engraving with this ring. When we asked to add the engraving she told us we could not change the order. We asked again if there was any way she could add it since the ring had not yet been sent out, it had quite literally just gone inside the little baggy they use to send things out, and she said no again. We asked one more time and she finally asked the other lady working to which the lady said yes of course just do x, y, and z. She then huffed and puffed and handed me the engraving paperwork. She did not tell me at all which portions to fill out or help me at all. When I asked her questions she gave me attitude and clearly didn't want to help me. Everything was all said and done so we left and went into our car. I realized we never got our original ring box back that was used for the proposal so I went back in and she addressed me as “what”. I kindly asked if the ring would be returned in that box and she said “no. here.” and closed the box so hard and handed it to me looking the other direction. Over the weekend we had the pleasure of meeting Justine and Anita at the Seekonk location. They were both very helpful, personable, patient , and overall wonderful. After having an off putting experience at the Kay jewelers at the Warwick mall a few months ago, where we went in to get my Fiancés finger sized so we could proceed with the process of looking at bands, we were met with an associate who would not size his finger unless we were buying that day. After we were both shocked by this we held off on getting his finger sized until over this past weekend. Justine and Anita right away were willing to help with no pressure whatsoever. They educated us on which ring could be sized right away and which needed to be custom ordered. They were a pleasure to work with. We ultimately ended up choosing my fiancés band that day. Will never buy jewelry or allow anyone to buy me jewelry from here again. My girlfriend bought me a ring from here a couple years ago and put a lifetime warranty on it. Thank God for the warranty cuz the onyx and diamond keep falling out. I've only worn the ring 3 times for fear of losing it. Came in to see if I can get it exchanged for a different ring so I didn't have to worry about losing the piece that keeps falling out and if the new ring I wanted costed more I would pay the difference and they said they don't do exchanges. All they offered was to send it in and get it fixed, which didn't work the first time it fell out and I brought it in to get fixed.
