My husband bought me 2 shoes from the Clark outlet at the Arundel mills mall in Maryland on December 27th 2024. I wore the black suede shoe twice sometime when we had all that snow in January and it was torn open, then I put it aside to take it to the store when I get the time. I went into the store today 2/6/2025 and I told the attendant by name Tay exactly what I said above. Tay became very rude and started screaming “ this was worn for quite some time, and it is from the clearance section anyway, so I can’t do anything about it” so I asked “ if it was from the clearance section wasn’t it paid for?” And this was only bought just over a month ago. Why will I buy a shoe and only have to wear it 2x and it’s damaged. Tay was very rude for a customer service representative and Tay called security. I threw the shoes at her and walked out the store. I didn’t get a refund for this purchase and I didn’t even mind getting the same shoes replaced, but she didn’t even look at my receipt at all to confirm all my complaints. I have been to this particular outlet multiple times and their customer service is terrible. Tay’s behavior is unacceptable. If the store cannot provide good customer service then it should be closed. I trust that Clarks will address this matter promptly to ensure that all customers continue to receive the exceptional service...

After purchasing four pairs of shoes, I returned two days later to exchange one pair for another. Regrettably, the experience was marred by the demeanor of the cashier, Marcus. His approach was unprofessional, and I felt disrespected throughout the interaction.
While I understand that challenges may arise in customer service roles, Marcus's behavior was unacceptable. It is evident that further training is necessary not only to enhance his proficiency as a cashier but also to prevent such incidents from affecting both the customer experience and his personal well-being.

Read moreBUYERS BE AWARE! There is NO warranty on any of the shoes sold here. The return period is 90 days. I learned this the hard way. Bought a pair of shoes on 7/4. Did not start to use them till 9/6 and the sole on the left shoe already fell apart on 10/5. Went to store and was told there was no warranty on any shoes and of course since it already passed the 90 day return period there was nothing the store could do. The store representatives are very nice though. I guess it is just the policy of all Clark’s stores. Called the 1800 number and opened a case. Will see how that works out. Have been a Clark’s customer for years and the quality seems to come down significantly and so did the customer service. Will have to go to...
