Bath & Body Works — Local services in Severn

I had went to visit my local store to purchase my favorite fragrance (which is a retired item) and because of the current annual sale, they only had the body lotion and the body wash. I was bummed, because I specifically wanted the spray. So I decided to take a trip to the Arundel Mills location. (10 miles away) I was in a mission to get this spray. When I got there, I was greeted by a young lady who asked to assist me. I told her what I was looking for and she said, “whatever is on that table is all we have”. Meanwhile she was just taking out some sprays from an underneath counter and restocking them. After I had asked her for what I was looking for, she didn’t look to see if there was any in there. (I wish I would’ve gotten her name, she was sooo unhelpful) So I searched the bin. As I was searching another customer came in, and was searching for the same spray. I had told her I don’t see any in here. She and I both were disappointed.🙁 Even though I didn’t get the spray I had wanted, of course I had to purchase something. It’s bath and body works, and they were having a sale! So as I was walking to cash out, an associate by the name of MONIQUE ( and I’m writing that in caps so her name won’t be overlooked) asked me if I had found everything I was looking for. I don’t know if I had a disappointing look on face or what, but I told her what I was looking for . She said, “let me check and see if we have any”. She walked very briskly to the counter (where the previous young lady was) open the cabinet, and to my surprise there was about 10!!! I thanked her!! I almost felt like hugging her!!! I was sooo happy!! I turned and the previous associate gave me a look like you got lucky, cause I wasn’t gonna help you. I went and found the other customer who was looking to make the same purchase, directed her to MONIQUE and she assisted her as well!!! The other customer and I were VERY pleased with MONIQUE’S assistance. There were about 10. I purchased 7, 😁 and left 3 for the other customer. I know my review is long winded but MONIQUE needs to be recognized for her assistance!!! She was friendly, helpful and demonstrated a willingness to assist from the moment she greeted me. I was walking briskly to catch up with her after I told her I had wanted that spray, and she went on a mission to provide me with exactly what I was looking for!!! So MONIQUE should be acknowledged, recognized, and rewarded for her dedication and hard work!!! If you are in the area, please ask for MONIQUE!!! She will be more than willing to...

I have always had a good experience at any Bath and body that I went to over the years. But today in the bath and body at Hanover. I was not very happy. I love to give compliments to anyone, and after giving a few compliments to an employee, she thanked me. However, the rest of our transaction, doesn’t matter what it was ,was not nice. She was very rude. ( it was obvious she just wanted to get through it ) In the way she process the transaction , even once I told her please be nice. There was no please and thank you, no smile . I walked away with a bad taste in my mouth. But I did tell her to have a great day. That was very disheartening to me because the front of the store employees are so wonderfully happy. Smiling and nice.. I am all for good...

Went to store located in Arundel Mills Mall and was cheerfully greeted by store employee, Kayla, and she inquired if I needed assistance with the store products. I informed her no, just came in to get hand soap; she could have just told me where they were located in the store but being a good salesperson, she inquired if I was looking for a specific type/scent. I told her what I was looking for, she informed me the new season/holiday scents were on display all over the store but the items I was looking for was at the back of the store near the register and were on a special sale. Needless to say, I bought more than I should have but I am happy with my purchase and customer service that was rendered to me; and recommend others...
