Rude and unfriendly female employee works here with no customer service skills. As a long time customer of more than 10 years I was very disappointed and she made me feel bad during my first visit to this store which was supposed to be routine and I may not return again to this store.
I went in recently to return my online purchase and I was made to feel so bad for doing so. This female employee spoke so rudely to me from start to finish. No polite “hello” from her. She told me very loudly TWICE they don’t do returns after 60 days - each time I said politely I am aware and that I was returning the jeans I had just purchased online because they did not fit correctly. The entire time I interacted with her she acted like she was doing ME a favor. I did not engage with her unnecessarily and simply gave her my online order number. Each time she asked for information- my order number, the credit card I used - she spoke so rudely. Afterwards no “have a good day” or “here’s your receipt” to end the interaction.
Considering a lot of Eddie Bauer stores have been shutting down and this simple return transaction was so awful for me - I may have to start shopping other brands where the employees have been trained better at...

I walked in minutes after opening, store was empty. I found my items, I informed the employee that I was using my rewards, I showed her the email[as I was instructed to do] . She became irritated and rude, didn't know what to do with it. Short and abrupt, she said I couldn't use it in store, [ though it said I could]. I put down my merchandise and walked out. Read moreI love that they keep lot of items are 100% cotton. Being allergic to so many synthetic fiber I have very little option. More over most of those synthetic fibers have possibly higher carbon footprint. Talking about environmental friendliness. I think it is time for all fabric maker think to be more innovative I hope and believe Eddie Bauer will be pioneer in that. I am very pleased with their customer service. I usually ware same clothes for multiple year and their clothes are durable. If you find threads and stitch threats are coming off. I think you can exchange the item for a new one of same or lower value or even a higher value if you pay the difference. Please keep your membership information updated for those...
