Absolutely the best guest service provider I have met in a long time. After being told by Annapolis that, (the bag i bought in March had a broken strap. Broken at the seam No other wear and tear and still had the gold MK card in the pocket that it came with) the bag could be sent out for repair and come back in a few weeks. Or I could pick it up and take it to Arundel Mills where they would exchange it for a new bag, that Annapolis was a boutique store or the other way around but either way it had to be there. I live near Arundel Mills and figured why wait. When I went to pick the bag up from Annapolis, I was treated rudely, made to wait behind all guests in very long line when there were 2 managers at the register and i approached politely from the side away from the guests) I went to Arundel Mills where at first a young woman says we don't know anything about that and you have to take it back to Annapolis. I am a retail manager and I have a degree in Business Administration and I would never ask a customer or guest to travel back and forth with a defective peice of merchandise that it is expensive and advertised as high fashion and holds a year warranty. So as I am repeating back to this young woman what she just said so i could make sure i was hearing her correctly A beautiful soul came walking over and he listened and apologized and asked if gold hardware would be ok because they had a similar bag but it was black and gold and as all my jewelery is white gold or sterling he immediately said oh no that won't do... let me see... and found me a bag same type but different pattern and bagged it up and we exchanged friendly banter. He was a diva in his own right. I adore him and in the future when shopping Michael Korhs it will from now on be from him. Did not get his name but he knows he is. He deserves a raise. Employee of the month whatever your company does to show appreciation for an employee that truly represents the brand....
Read moreI went into MK last week to browse around for a gift for my girlfriends birthday. As soon as I walked in, I saw two employees (both tall girls, one black and one white) look at me from the checkout area but not say a single word. This was the first signal to the fact that they did not care about a customer entering their store. Then, 5 minutes later, as I am browsing, I really liked a purse and wanted to get it for my girlfriend but I wanted to know the updated price and what sales were going on. I looked over at the checkout area as both employees were still standing their talking, but none of them looked my way and ignored me. I went ahead and asked them for the price. They acted as if I had asked them to jump off of a cliff with their attitude and sigh that they gave me under their breath. As I got the price, I asked for the sales and promotions. After that, I browsed around for another 10 minutes and still got no help unless I went to the counter and asked for the sandals that I had saw. Both employees had a lack of need to do work and assist employees. As compared to Kate Spade which I went to right after, I was greeted by 2 employees as soon as I entered the store who without me asking, told me their promotions and told me to ask for help if needed. They hovered around me in case I had a quick question and provided excellent customer service. MK on the other hand is not the way to go for Arundel Mills it seems and I will now not shop...

Got sunglasses for xmas as a gift ...A GIFT... went to return it and they said in order to return in store you need a certain email with a link BECAUSE THEY CANT PULL IT UP IN STORE umm okay what a joke...spent over 40 minutes on with customer service for them to send the correct link...I get the information take to the desk and the MANAGER asks for the card I paid it with don't have it bc it WAS A GIFT so then she acts like she can't do anything else I ask for a gift card she says WE'RE ALL OUT are you flipping joking I spent a hour between dealing with customer service and the idiots that work behind the counter only to have no resolution but to mail it back...I live 45 minutes away more in traffic. Customer service over the phone was extremely nice however the people that work at this location had NO SOLUTION other then oh well... also the manager took my sunglasses out of the plastic sleeve only to not put it back on and in the box which I brought it in ..I get home and notice this so I pray they take them back. Michael kors get it together seriously I never had this much trouble returning things as I did with you all!! Never going to this...
