T.J. Maxx — Local services in Sevierville

Cashier was wonderful, but the female manager was a nightmare. We asked a question about a two-piece sleep set not having the tops for the larger sizes in boys (12/14) when the size 8 and below had the tops. All were the same price, so we just asked about it and the female manager told us she would have to hold the pajama pants for a week before she could sell them to us. She said she would check the back, but if they didn’t have them we were out of luck. I told her she would need to pull the entire rack because none of the larger sizes had the shirts. She told us to wait but never came back, so the kind young gentleman went ahead and checked us out. He said he had never heard of the policy of not being allowed to sell for a week, and since we were from out of town he wasn’t going to make us wait any longer. I would give a 1-star, but the guy was so kind after the manager was rude to us and...

Finally, a TJ Maxx that has a variety of merchandise in! We stopped here to check what gourmet foods were available and see what clothing items we could find for ourselves and family members. To our surprise we found a set of Mikasa Cheers stemless wine glasses to match our Mikasa Cheers set of drinking glasses. This set of 8 was on clearance for $22. For our Irish twin nephews we found coordinating tops and bottom in Jump man and Hurley hooded shirts. We also found a few food items including hot sauces and Red Tractor oatmeal marked down for $1.00!!! Other great brand kitchen items on clearance were stainless steel measuring cups, large and small tongs, and meat cutting mats. Also, came across hard to find African black soap. Needless to say we enjoyed our shopping experience. With this done on the first day of our visit we can enjoy the great outdoors and other attractions...

Rudest worst tjmax ever. When a customer says, I will get an item instead of you wasting my time to get one with a price tag, let them because cheating them out of their money so you can get more out of people is ridiculous. Yes, you get items at different times so clearance can be at different times, but it wasn't hard to be like "this not priced ball has 2 prices, want the 3 dollar ball?" Instead of ignoring me when I trying to pawn off a more expensive price on me. Seriously not that hard. Then manager is trash having an attitude and not trying to quail the situation but instead makes the situation worse... Check my other reviews... I am a praise reviewer... But this one, no... Forget this place. Will tell everyone to avoid...
