Bottom line, the reviews I've read and those that indicate are a good point to execute on Computer work appear to be likely published by a BOT.
The reality is, that Customer Support from the very beginning is so locked into "policy" that to just talk with someone is a problem. My initial contact simply told me "NO" when I asked for a brief conversation with a Tech. They are so inflexible that nothing will break through the wall that surrounds them.
My situation is simply somewhat unique, and compounding by medical impacts due to my current state.
I simply wanted to talk with a Tech to get a level of confidence on what I was asking. Yet, that was beyond their capability.
If that is the case, it clearly speaks to the level of Tech that is able to support the customer needs w/in the Geek Squad based in the Sherman, TX location. For me, that extends throughout the landscape called Best Buy. Not sure that is viable Customer centric organization. Clearly, Customer support is well down on the list of items applicable to Reputational Risk, which will ultimately cascade to Financial Risk, Operational Risk and other key Business Factors used to measure the viability of a Business within this...

Turns out 2 years into my warranty, when I needed to use it , they change the rules and no longer 'do that'. I need to send it off!But wait! Covid-19, everything is on pause. 6 months go by, everything still on pause, my warranty expires June 30, 2020 !! The Best Buy store in Sherman told me the Covid relief extension on warranty's ended just days before I was finally able to enter the store, because everything was closed for months! As far as I'm concerned Best Buy is the only place to buy your Bad-to-the-bone NETWORK UNLOCKED Motorola phone. For real, I love my Motorola G-Fast, less than $200. DO NOT BUY THE WARRANTY FOR THE PHONE. Unless you find out what the deductible is on the type of phone you are buying. Trust me it's probably not worth it.ask about specific device replacement, or will they replace with a "similar" device. If you buy a gold iphone 8 they might not have that in the back room when you break yours. No in-store replacement will be available... Scam if you ask me. Read moreI bought a 1yr pro contract with them, I also purchased a new Samsung tablet from Best Buy not quite 6 months ago. I have only used the tablet maybe 4 times just to play a game. When I sat it up I used the same pin code as I did for my phone so it would be easy for me. About 3 weeks ago I tried to turn on the tablet and it said I was using wrong code. I first contacted geek squad by chat, was on line for an hour with girl telling me to do same thing over and over, I figured then something else was wrong. I took it to the store to geek squad. The guy that waited on me was extremely nice and tried so hard to fix it. After an hour and a half I asked if they could just replace it and he said they couldn't do anything, I would have to take it to a Samsung repair place.
