TL;DR – This store is a mess. Especially in the clothing isle. Some customers are ratchet AF so beware. Do not get into any conflict with them. Be prepared to wait in a long line. Come in the morning if you must to avoid the long line.
I remember a while back, the first few months, when this Burlington store opened at Assembly. As soon as you came in, the air-conditioned air swept you off your feet and into the aisles of some of the biggest savings you’ll ever find.
This store was well organized and in tip-top shape. All the clothes were in their proper racks and size columns. The shoe corner had some of the most well-organized footwear display I’ve ever seen. They could even pose a threat to any Foot Locker in the area. Home goods products were in the back and I swear you could feel every bed sheet’s warm invitation the longer you stood within the isle.
Now, after a short couple of years, I come back and the entire store is a mess! What the heck happened???
The clothes were on the floor and stepped on by customers. The shoe corner looked like it was tossed by a mini-tornado. And the home goods section was ripped apart! I no longer felt the warm invitation from the bed sheets. Now just a cold, dead feeling of dread and encroaching sorrow.
It was absolute madness.
Nevertheless, the savings were still there. The hidden jewels, now buried under mountains of tossed clothing, were literally hidden. You had to go digging. I still remember finding an awesome pair of cargo shorts that were originally priced at $75, but slashed down to $30. Believe me, there are some rich articles of clothing in this store. But you must dig now.
The customer experience for me at this Burlington store has changed. It’s messy, dirty, and a bit ratchet now.
I HIGHLY recommend any potential customer visiting this store to come first thing in the morning or else you’ll be waiting in a huge line at checkout. The checkout area, or front end, is also crazy. There are only 2-4 cashiers at the front. If you come after rush hour, around 6 or 7, GOOD LUCK! You’ll be waiting in line forever!

Read moreThis location needs major help, the store is pure chaos, seems like they have a small staff that just can’t keep up to the pace bc the racks are on the floor, the merchandise is thrown everywhere that you don’t even know where to look and if you get lucky n have the patience to shop thru the mess to find a gem the next dilemma is the lines are like Christmas lines everyday of the week- at least a 30 min check out bc 2 cashier are open. Plus I see other reviews all with the same complaints about the only 2 cashiers open and long wait times posted a year ago or longer, you can’t reply saying you’re going to do better as a company and a year later have no improvements, the customers deserve better service….
TJ Maxx next door is just as busy but the store is still together to enjoy shopping, I’d suggest going there to enjoy your day….
Update: it’s like a yr later and this place still has 2 employees working the check out, this store can’t keep up to the plaza growing, it has too much foot traffic for such poor owners, the shopping experience here is awful!
