CAUTION Spending money in this store!!

Calypso would not exchange $70 pair of SAXX shorts that drawstring pulled out in one wash...the way the shorts were made it would damage material to try to put back in. I did throw away my receipt, my bad. Even if I pulled up my charges on credit card from their store to prove purchase and it was less then a week prior. I spent over $300 in their store, brought friends in that spent $$$. They rep quality lines...they said I could contact manufacture to see what they would do. Would have been a nice jester for them to do that. I was asking for an exchange, not money back. I had other friends that changed their mind about shopping there. Very disappointed in their customer service😕 I will never spend another dollar there and regret my purchases. There are plenty of other stores on the Island.

My reply to your statement of me declining your offer of replacement is inaccurate...after two attempts over two days to have you help me with the garment replacement. You finally contacted me with help on a replacement from SAXX only after my review and while I was in the midst of packing up from being on the Island for 5 weeks, preparing for a cross-country travel. We went in because the clothing on the windows looked really nice. This store does have very nice, quality merchandise. However, the two women who were working never even said hello to us. They were having a very lengthy conversation about some personal situation that was obviously more important than greeting customers. Then, my husband found a shirt he liked. While he was looking at sizes, I looked at a different size and found a price of $29.99. When we took the shirt to the counter to buy, it rang up $48. I mentioned the $29.99 price to the sales lady and she asked me if I had seen it on another identical shirt. I retrieved the shirt and she told me that price was wrong, and the $48 was their price. I’m so glad we made a point to come here. It’s by far the best boutique in the island. The clothing is really nice and good quality. The shoe selection was the best. I’ve been hunting for a pair of Hey Dudes (a particular pattern) and they had them in my size!!!! The price was reasonable and I didn’t pay shipping, lol.
