Beach Access #3 - Gulf Circle — Attraction in South Padre Island

There was a red beat up pick up truck sitting at beach access # 3 in handicap parking that had a rotating dash cam facing and recording the showers while the guy who owned the truck was sitting under bour tarp next to his truck. We called the police they showed up and made him take the blue tarp down but not sure about the cameras. They checked me out with my info,( LTC, ect) and sent me on my way after thanking me for calling it in. They said they knew the guy and that he was a very nice guy plus that he had a total of 6 cameras on her s truck and was a veteran. So not sure if they made him move or take them down since the guy said the cameras were there for his safety. My concern was for the safety of children that the cameras were facing while they were washing off the sand from the beach. PARENTS...

This beach access point is beautiful! It's quiet with surprisingly generous parking, well maintained, and the showers and bathrooms are a huge help. Great place to visit if you want to just enjoy the sand and ocean. The trail to get to the beach was easy. They have a cement sidewalk and then a plastic walkway to get to the beach. They don't have a shower or anywhere to rinse your feet or items. They have a couple of portal potties, so you can handle your business if needed. It's a nice beach access. I would...
