Performance Audio, LLC — Local services in South Salt Lake

I was referred to Performance Audio by Interwest Electronics after I tried to take my 30-year old Paradigm subwoofer which wasn't powering up. I've happily used Interwest Electronics in the past but they told me they don't work on speakers. I tried to tell them it was an electrical problem but they insisted they didn't work on speakers. Immediately after entering Performance Audio, I was promptly greeted by Tay and I asked him if he can take a look at my subwoofer. I was prepared to leave it and just get a ticket for the repair but Tay said if I don't mind, he can quickly take a look and see if it's something simple he can fix and I can be on my way. After taking the unit apart, he soon diagnosed it was a blown fuse then proceeded to research the part. They didn't have the correct fuse in stock so Tay advised me to purchase the fuse myself and asked if I was comfortable enough to open the unit back up and install the fuse. I said I was and asked how much I owed them? To my shock, he said nothing and a high-five would be fine! I felt bad as I literally had no cash on me so I hope this review will attract much more customers to this fantastic business organization. I'm 60+ and am not easily impressed, but I can say I was completely and overwhelmingly impressed with the service Tay and Performance Audio provided and NOT charge me a dime! More power to them and I wish them all the best. I am again enjoying the thundering bass from my subwoofer - I cannot thank you...

I have been purchasing and renting equipment from Performance Audio since 1989. I'll never forget the early days of renting to own the equipment. The owner Kevin who has since passed away set us up on a rent to own program that helped launch our DJ company. Terry, who still runs the rental department was always their to help load or unload the equipment on Mondays after each rental. Even to this day Terry takes great care of the equipment that they rent out. They always have great equipment to rent that looks and performs great for our needs.

Over the years they have been great to work with and on too many occasions would go the extra mile to help us out in times of need. On one particular occasion Darrin waited after hours so we could pick up some equipment that we needed for a wedding at Red Butt Gardens that we were performing at. I have many great customer service stories with them and have truly enjoyed working with Performance Audio over the many years.

Now that I have started a new company I'm excited to be working with them even more as I purchase and upgrade equipment. They have been very helpful to answer all my questions and guide me to the right equipment needed to create my podcast.

PERFORMANCE AUDIO DOES IT ALL!

I have been using Performance Audio over the last 3 years for rental equipment. IE: speakers, monitors, sound boards, backlights, etc. The staff is extremely accommodating, the gear is is great condition, and I have always been very pleased with the service I have received.

I found out recently that they are much more than just a place to rent equipment. The employee base is huge. They spend most of their time putting in all the top sound systems in Utah valley as well as travel the world making audio, lighting, and sound possible for small or large venues. They can make your massive concert dreams come true, or simply help you with a small sound studio in your home.

PERFORMANCE AUDIO DOES IT ALL! - Having been in the customer service industry for a long time, I have gained a greater appreciation for good equipment and a friendly staff. Performance Audio thank you for hitting both of these points of interest out of the park!.
