1 star is too much. Someone here said they are rude ... Well that's an understatement. My wife and I went to buy some things on July 4th about 10 min before 9pm in case someone cares to check maybe a camera. One employee (skinny guy with glasses) of the Happy Camper Market was sweeping the carpet outside the entrance in a manner that was throwing all the dirt on us. I told him that maybe should stop his huge swings while we are passing and he just smiled and continued. That moment I said that is not really funny and he snapped out of the blue telling me that he can throw me out from the store if he wants. Wow at this point I was not in yet and he's throwing me out already. I ignored him seeing he's so uneducated but he followed me in and asked me to leave the store for being disrespectful apparently. I did not say any bad word, I didn't raise my voice but somehow he found me disrespectful. I left the store thinking it's just not worth it and I was stunned that this prick can actually talk to me like that. I returned after a minute and asked to see a manager or supervisor at least to tell someone how offended I was about he's behavior. At this point he said there was no manager in the store but he can call him if I want. I said sure I'll wait and then he started to scream that he's calling the cops if I don't leave the store...shocking again....for no reason. He's screaming at me and everyone in the store is looking to understand what is going on. I was never in my life so humiliated or thrown out from a store. I was thinking this guy is going to shoot me or something. Our kids were waiting in a car after an exhausting hiking day in Zion and I didn't want to ruin their evening so we left. Unbelievable behavior from someone working in this industry and when I think about being chased out of the store before even getting in. Rude, uneducated, shocking and utterly disappoing. If there is a manager or supervisor interested to find the truth check the camera or the store camera hopefully have audio to understand how this employee disrespected me and not the...
Read moreHappy Camper was great and we loved our souvenirs and snacks we got from them. But the true stand out of Happy Camper was Geoff. While we were at the checkout counter where Geoff was checking us out, I told my husband that I was not able to start our rental car and Geoff overheard me and offered to help us out with his jumper cables. He helped us put the car into neutral (this was a big struggle as it wouldn’t shift into neutral and Geoff knew of a hack that worked). Then he helped us push the car to move it to a safe place where he was able to restart the battery with the jumper cables. He was so kind and helpful and really saved the day for us. He wouldn’t even accept any money or anything from me when I offered it at the end.h. We also observed him having great rapport with every customer he was helping. So go to Happy Camper and say hi to Geoff who is like an...
Read moreHappy Camper Market truly lives up to its name! This place has just about everything you could possibly need — from everyday essentials to unique finds you didn’t even know you were looking for. The store is impressively neat and well-organized, making it easy and pleasant to shop around.
One thing to note: prices are on the higher side, so it might not be the best spot for bargain hunters. That said, the variety and cleanliness might just make it worth the extra cost.
Overall, a great one-stop shop if you value selection and a tidy, welcoming shopping environment.
Important update:
Today once I opened the skittles pack bought from this store I was shocked to see that both the packs were nibbled on by the mice. See updated photo for the mouse teeth marks on the skittle.
If the store management is reading this please do something about the rat...
