Let me start by saying that the staff are 5/5 stars. The girl taking the orders, Liv was exceptional and very friendly and informative. The atmosphere is also a 5/5, as well as the aesthetic of the food. The reason I give this restaurant a 2/5 is similar to others low review. Just because the views are nice does not mean a restaurant deserves a 5. There are certain expectations in order to receive a 5. The food is fairly priced for the location, however the brisket in my opinion was a crime. The meat was not sliced in the correct direction, nor was it trimmed well. There were large fat portions that were not rendered down like you would expect from a typical smoked brisket. I was very disappointed in the food, which is why I have given this a 2/5 star. I agree with other reviews- this might be a 4.7 in Springdale but as someone who has travelled many places , and eaten well, this does not deserve the high ratings. I feel similarly about other restaurants in the area. I will also add, all restraunts I have eaten at in the area does not serve hot food. Everything is lukewarm. The views over deliver and the food under delivers...
Read moreGreat little barbecue restaurant not far from the entrance to Zion National Park. We were staying in Springdale Utah and saw that it had great reviews so we decided to check it out after hiking that morning. They are actually open for breakfast and then they switch over to their lunch menu at 11 AM which is right about when we arrived. We decided to get the pulled pork combo meal with baked beans and you can choose from a regular bun or a Cornbread bun which is what we chose. It also comes with a large pickle spear and a soda. We split the meal and it was delicious. They had three different barbecue sauces to choose from and we chose the thicker Kansas City style barbecue sauce, which was very good. The owner (I believe) took our order (you order and pay at the counter and pick up your food within minutes) and he was super nice as well. They have outdoor patio seating on either side of the restaurant and a few seats indoors as well. Highly...
Read moreNew favorite food spot in Zion!! My husband and I ate here literally every day of our 4 day stay. Yes we’re creatures of habit, but the BBQ was too good to not get daily!
It was the BEST post-hike refuel food, and packed with protein to keep us feeling full and ready for the next adventure.
The building has super comfy seating inside and outside with lots of shade, epic views of the canyon and is a super short 10 minute walk from the Visitor Center and shuttle, making it extra convenient to and from hikes.
Their BBQ bowls are packed in these great lil’ sturdy containers, so we ordered 2 on Tuesday evening to take with us 7AM Wednesday as lunch on our big hike. Having delicious BBQ at the top of Angels Landing was amazing!!
I can’t say enough good things about the Hangry Goat, their tasty food and the two lovely gals that work there. Very much looking forward to returning on our next...
