Desert Ice — Restaurant in Springdale

My wife and I were waiting for the shuttle bus and the gentleman at the Info desk enthusiastically recommended Desert Ice

Ordered: Mango, strawberry both with real whipped cream

Both flavors were the most delicious fruit icees we’ve ever had. The textures were smooth and didn’t melt quickly; mind you temperatures at Zion were in the 90s.

Cashier was friendly, and servers were also friendly and helpful. Found out the servers were also the owners.

Anyone looking to have something really refreshing while at the Zion Canyon Village should stop by because you won’t be disappointed. We live in California so unfortunately won’t be back soon but if we’re in Utah my wife and I would take a detour to have this treat again.

Annie and Xander are amazing! We had them come to cater our pre wedding pool party at the Zion Red Rock Villa and it was the perfect addition! Not only are they both great and genuinely nice people, but their Italian water ice is incredible. Super fresh. Loads of different flavors. They were a huge hit at our party and everyone absolutely loved the water ice. We think everyone went back for 2nds…3rds…4ths…5ths so they could try as many flavors as possible. Some even went to the ZNP entrance later in the week/weekend to get some more (including us). If we lived in the Springdale area, we’d be showing up to their truck every week. We highly HIGHLY recommend. Whether for catering or just post-hike, getting their Italian water...

Simply EXCELLENT. You just have to try it before or after your hike! My husband and I had finished an eventful 7 hour day at Zion and we were craving something cold and refreshing so bad on the way out of the park… We kept asking each other: “wouldn’t it be perfect if there were some icees here??” Low and behold… we looked over and saw the cute Desert Ice truck. It was like a dream come true. All their flavors sounded so delightful but we ended up with the mango Italian ice! Wow did it hit the spot! Absolutely delicious, refreshing, & beautiful presentation.
