Zion Canyon Brew Pub — Restaurant in Springdale

After doing The Narrows hike, we needed a good place to refuel. Went in and were told it would be a 30 minute wait- we were okay with that because there was seating outside available to wait. About 10 minutes later, buzzer went off and we were seated in a lovely booth with a view of the mountain face. The sun was going down and it was perfect, just perfect. Our server came quickly and greeted us with enthusiasm. She got our drink order (waters, a coke, unsweet tea, flight of 4 beers) and returned within about 5 minutes ready to take our order. We ordered two burgers and two chicken sandwiches, with 2 orders of the chimichurri fries. We sampled and discussed the beers while our food was prepared, each member of our party really liked at least one of the beers. My favorite was the HEF- fruity with a neat clove finish. My husband liked the Zion which he said was wheaty and smooth. The food arrived quickly (good thing because beer on an empty stomach 🤪) and oh my goodness! Such deliciousness! They didn’t put the onion rings on the burger but instead brought us a full basket, which were hot, fresh, and super delicious! The chimichurri fries were THE BEST we have ever had, garlicky and amazing! The burgers were perfect with a bacon jalapeño jam that gave just a hint of a kick. Bun was substantial and held up the burger and toppings well. The lettuce and tomato were so fresh and looked just like they do in the pictures - green, leafy, and crisp. First time I got “picture quality“ lettuce. Chicken breast sandwich were very good too. Service continued to be excellent with frequent stop bus to see if we needed anything and to refill waters. We plan to return to the area soon and will definitely be stopping...

We loved our 1st visit here so much that we decided to spend our last night here as well. I never go back to the same place for same type of meal while on vacation, so that says a lot

Our first meal was 5-Stars all around. Amazing hot and unique flavored food. And the service was on-point. We’re sauce people, and they gave us so much it was amazing. Christopher was incredible. Attentive, fun, and super friendly. Give that man a raise. I imagine he represents what the owners would dream their service to be.

So why 4-stars? Our 2nd night was such a contrast from the first. Our service was terrible, she was inattentive, messed our orders up unapologetically, and our food came out as cold as it was outside. I wish I didn’t come back, because that 5-star experience has a bit of an asterisk to it now. Hopefully it was just a one-off bad night, so 4-stars it is. I know they’re capable of 5, and if I just had the last visit I would prob rate it 2-stars, so that’s possible too…

The Zion Brew Burger 1st night was out of this world. Get the chimichurri fries. I’m not a big bacon jam fan, so we asked for it on the side. Oh wow. That made me a believer. I’ll always try bacon jam from here on out chasing what this place created. Bravo.

The desserts were Huge, perfect for sharing. The brownie is on the cakey side of brownie. If you like that style, you’ll love this. I’m not the biggest fan of that style. The S’mores bread pudding was so unique and huge. This place does not skimp on portions, perfect after a long day of hiking.

Beer was great too, and they have a cool little waiting room bar off to the side while you wait

My first experience was not good. Waited for 40 mins for our food to come and was told it got lost or it went to a different table. Their excuse was “small kitchen” which I found odd because they are located in a National Park and thousands of people come to visit. Anyway, we missed the last shuttle for the park, and we were hungry. It was a saturday and they had live music outside which was nice so we just tried to let the bad experience go and enjoy the live music instead. They were selling beers outside as well. My husband happened to talk to the manager who was also managing the outside beer station at that time. It was supposedly our last day in Zion (first timers) and I had sworn to never go back because of the experience BUT the manager of Zion Brew Pub, Timmy, convinced us to extend our stay for another night to make everything right.. AND HE DID. We came back the next day and he personally served us and made sure everything went smoothly. Gabe was also our server and made our experience so much better. Timmy went above and beyond and with that, Zion is on top of my vacation list. We will definitely come back every time we go to Zion and come back to Zion Brew Pub. I hope he gets a raise!!! This is stellar customer service and should be the norm. There’s only 5 stars for this review but if 10 is an option, I would give Timmy a 10!

For food: Pub Fries need to be a special mention. It was addicting!!! 10:10!!!!
